My favorite drum tour, because you go into detail on practically every single thing, instead of "I have X heads on top of my toms, 10", 12", and 16" toms, a 22" kick, and a 14" snare. I play X cymbals because I like them a lot.". THIS is how a drum tour should be done.

this drum set is a work of art with a little bit of george in it

I recently had the pleasure of playing a Pearl Masterworks kit with George' signature snare at a local music shop. I'm a Tama guy, but these drums are amazing, and George's snare is unreal, also CRAZY loud.

David Curtis pearl is great but I dont like the mounting system. I like the L rod, because there is no way the tom will fall off. Axis is great I own the axis A long boards!

the 1 guy who pressed dislike button is the is the old granny who was the george's neighbor when he was young and played double bass at 280 btm for entire inspector derrick tv series time in the evening. the granny loved inspector granny.

The reason he uses quarters asides from keeping time, is to get the pedal in motion,cause in case you haven't noticed,what comes after fills is either double bass or one foot blasts.It is essential to start from a leg motion to continue with ankle,you set the pedal in motion and then you exploit the rebound via ankles !James Payne describes this concept perfectly .

im i the only one who think that this drum kit is overrated. mean you don't need 5 hi-hats and a 20 cymbals to play metal. personally i would know what i would do with such a big set-op. 3 toms, 1 max 2 hi-hats, 1 ride 1 china and 3 crashes. and of course a sneer and pedals. it is a waste of money to buy his kit. i dont think that george has spent a dime on that kit he has just asked pearl i need this kit, can you make it in this color, and send it to me?. and the same goes for his pedals.

Just because you wouldn't know what to do with it doesn't mean he doesn't either. If you've ever heard his drum work and or have seen him live, you would understand. All those extra cymbals and toms give him a lot of variety and he knows how to use it.
