thats not really how it works. he can tell them before hand what he doesnt want to talk about. he has that power to do that. you go on a book promo tour and the people with you notify the journalists of what not to ask. so this was actually all approved. im surprised he said what he said actually. and as far as him cheating on his wife im surprised he kind of admitted it in a round about way. but specifics arent really any of our business anyways. were being nosey

Why? Because he made a mistake? If all of our lives were analyzed, we would all have a ton of mistakes the world would judge us for. The difference is that most of us aren't famous, so most of us get to just learn from our mistakes and move on. It's a bit more difficult when you are famous. People will hold you accountable for a mistake made decades ago.

I don't think It's unlikely that both you and I are doing something stupid continuously that we shouldn't. Humans are flawed. That's what we do. We do a lot of smart things, sure, but we also do a lot of really dumb stuff. But since most of us aren't scrutinized the way celebrities are, the majority of us gets away with everything. And then we act all superior when we find out someone famous did something stupid, and somehow forget that we are the same way. I'm not exactly sure what you are referring to. The Epstein thing was obvious, since he had been convicted already. I don't blame those, like Bill Clinton, who met him before his conviction, when everyone thought he was just a wealthy philanthropist or something. But Bill Gates meeting with him to raise money for charity AFTER a conviction? He shouldn't have done that. At the same time, we live and we learn. Unless he was a part of the Epstein thing, then I see no reason to hild him accountable forever for having a few meetings. (And there are no evidence that suggests he did anything illegal, so unless someone finds new evidence, then we should assume he is innocent.)
