Yo, I fucking died when she said "not blonde enough". Because we all know Vince loves his blondes. This promo was awesome.

Becky was on a winning streak for the last two months and finally got her deserved title shot. Then Charlotte came back after 2 months hiatus and automatically given a title shot? Not only that, Charlotte won the title at SummerSlam, undeservedly stealing Becky's opportunity. How is WWE expecting us to believe that Becky is the heel, and Charlotte is the face? It should be the other way around. Again, WWE is using backwards logic when it comes to heels and faces.

Not to mention that the best bad guys (or in this case girl), are the ones you can understand their point of view. Imagine busting your butt to get a title shot and then finally earning the opportunity. Only to find out that another person who's been gone for 2 months gets that same opportunity. And then wins pinning you in the process. I would be heated too if I were Becky.

Yeah Becky bust her ass off to get a title shot and where was Charlotte at the time cuz I think Carmella hurt her leg at the time that happened and then 2 months later she gets a haned tittle shot like come on if Charlotte return after two months from action should done was do one on one match with the iconics or with Mandy or Sonya like just saying

She's actually the biggest babyface on the main roster right now. She's been getting cheers louder than AJ Styles, Seth Rollins, Braun Strowman just to name a few, and these 3 are some of the biggest superstars on Raw and Smackdown that get pretty loud cheers every night. But Becky, people loved her before but now that she's finally starting to take action we love her EVEN MORE. Damn, seeing a women's wrestler get a reaction like that is very rare to see

This interview honestly only further cemented the fact for me that, like Sami Zayn before her (perhaps even more so), I could never boo Becky Lynch. The promo on Smackdown seemed a little forced in some respects, everything she says here is spot on and I totally believe she means every word, even to the point where I feel like she's saying things the company doesn't want her to.

meh i digress. Sammi has been an amazing heel (with bad booking since mania), becky just needs to be a tweener. if only she had said "thank you for clapping but i don't care" instead of going against the crowd, it would have been an amazing promo. She hasn't been this interesting in AGES.

Ken Hernandez you know, I feel like Becky is yet to be in a storyline where she actually wins, or comes out on top. Because if you look back on her past rivalries- Alexa Bliss/Mickie James, Natalya, Charlotte/Dana Brooke- I don’t think she came on top successful, each feud kinda transitioned into another feud, you know? I really hope she at least comes out with a title after this.

Bill Saucier No, Vince doesn't believe in anything more than pure heel and babyface. Look at CM Punk vs. John Cena. Becky is saying the SAME EXACT thing Punk said in his pipebomb in 2011. And at first they treated Punk like a heel in that fued. Until the WWE crowd showed their undying support for Punk because he told THE TRUTH. And he sold merchandise. There was no choice but to turn Punk a face because everybody loved him at the time. I'm getting the same vibes with Becky.

Somethings are subjective that I can see as being seen as wrong, but nothing objectively wrong. I agree with everything she said.

This sure reminds me of CM Punk’s pipebomb he threw out that one time sure hope she comes out one day and does something similar 👍 you go girl 👍

Sitting here listening to this interview the week after mania when she took both titles from ronda and charlotte. everything she says in this interview, eight months ago, comes completely true. The long term storytelling was so good. So on point. I just wanted to put this here to remind anyone else that comes along, that sometimes WWE really can tell a good story, and they hit absolute gold with becky lynch and her rise from MITB 2018 until WM 35 in 2019 It was an incredible ride. And thanks to Gorilla for putting this out here, sometimes a real fan just has to go back and see the start, and this is where it really picked up. She was already starting to go over big time, many of us had been fans for years before this, but this post summerslam interview was when we all knew something absolutely massive was about to happen. Once in an era story there. The payoff of over eight months of build was Becky Lynch, the first (and as of this post only) woman to have ever been the final person standing tall in the closing credits of the main event of wrestlemania raising her dual titles to a thunderous ovation in front of 82000 people. Immortalized forever. So good. I hope as time passes, this moment becomes one of the greatest ever remembered. She has cemented her place in wrestling history, and will be a hall of famer because of this moment.

This is the Becky we want. Love the kayfabe arrogance and shit talking. It’s beautiful! I love it! Even when she turns face again, I wanna see this kind of personality more often

Yea I agree Becky should of been crown the champion.. not Charlotte..but yet again she ric flair daughter.. without ric flair she wouldn't be shit..

Becky is right about everything in this interview

You can tell Becky is genuinely pissed ,years of mistreating her by the management and overpushing wrestlers like bliss and Charlotte

Becky is pretty much being used as Chris Benoit. Benoit wasn't the best on the mic but he was a great wrestler. Not a jobber but she is used to help others get better. I look forward to seeing her as a heel.

@WrestleBase Not even close. Bliss is overrated af on the mic to me. Yes she is good, but not excellent. Her promos are amusing but where are emotions ? It's always the same thing with Alexa, she makes fun of the opponent, she says she's smart and that's it. In every Becky's promos you feel PASSION. She can give goosebumps unlike Alexa.

Becky isn't even top 5 women on the mic. For me it's: 1. Bliss 2. Carmella 3. Charlotte 4. Ruby 5. Mickie I like Becky tho. She had conviction behind her words. And I think she has the most heart and passion of all the women in WWE.

I love it when wrestlers keep character during outside events

The thing is, if WWE had gone with this kinda thing for her heel run, a heel run in which she’s not saying the fans hate her but saying she doesn’t care about the fans because she didn’t win

The was sort of like her promo on SDLive but I wish she would have went there like she did here

I love her character now, and I love hearing the crowd cheering her on. She doesn't have to be heel, just an edgy firy competitor. Kind of like Steve Austin.

At least Becky was diplomatic enough not to mention that the biggest reason she hadn't been in video segments up until recently, is that Kevin Dunn (Executive Producer) didn't like Becky's Irish accent. I agree with the crowd after Summerslam who shouted,"You deserve it (women's title), as Becky went back to the dressing room after the match ...

Becky Lynch feels like the female CM Punk. They’re both very underrated work horse that have the admiration of the fans but never get pushed because WWE are too busy pushing their own favorites. Much like Rock and Cena, they are planning a mania between Charlotte and Rousey, but never planned for someone like Becky getting the kind of support from fans that she is.

Charlotte loses the title to Becky then Becky retrains in a heel ish way Charlotte wins the royal rumble then challenges Ronda for her title that way Becky gets the title and Charlotte vs Ronda still happens at wrestlemania 35
