Think of it like this, if you do everything for your child, that's not love because they end up dependent. Any healthy person can work look after themselves and pay their bills. Its people like you that make ingenious statements that's wrecking the society. There are lots of British people abusing the system when they can afford not to. Most of those crying about being homeless still wear designer cloths amd misappropriate their funds BECAUSE they know the goverment must look after them. If these people are not housed, do you want them roaming the streets and fending f9r themselves? Cos then they will break into your house to find something to steal. So if you are so smart, bring up a solution to house the migrants already in UK that charity groups won't protest and campaign against.

This is what the do gooders want . They say no such thing as an illegal immigrant 🤦‍♀️. I was very lucky almost 8 years ago , having been on the council waiting list for four years. I was offered a brand new build with a Housing Association. This home is my castle and I take great pride in my home . British born aren’t being housed they’re being told by the local councils they have to private rent . Then obviously the rent is high , you probably need a guarantor or 6 to 12 months rent upfront. How many 20 ,30 or 40 somethings have that kind of money? And not even allowed a cat or dog to live with you

We are obviously paying far too much tax in this country. They are just wasting our money on anything and everything they can think of. These people have done nothing for this country. We need to look after our own first.

We need to start a countrywide protest and stop paying council tax full stop, the whole systems needs a reset.

That should really deter illegal immigrants from entering the UK by housing them in luxury flats at a cost of £1400 per month to the taxpayer.

I am with you on your choice of vote. I keep saying that if we voted for Reform or any other small party not yet represented in parliament or an independent candidate we could clear the swamp. To put it another way, if we did not vote for a party presently represented in parliament we could clear out the lot in one day. What a happy thought.

At any rate I do not intend to tick a Conservative or Labour box though either may get in by default. It is up to people to have courage not to keep doing the same thing at each election and expecting a different outcome. It just won't happen. I am taking a long term view now.

Catherine, I've had these conversations recently with my parents. They had no idea about the reality was regards care home fees even though they paid hefty tax all their lives. If they need to they'll take your home, savings... Everything to pay for extortionate care home costs. It's disgusting after everything they have paid into the UK government and local services

This is pushing house prices up even more. Our own kids cannot afford to buy and get on the housing ladder. We do not want to have to build a million more houses every year. The country is FULL, resources already groaning at the seams. We cannot even get a doctor's appointment within a reasonable time scale any more .... do we want even more of this?????? We need what is left of our land to be as self-sufficient as possible in order to feed ourselves. We can see what happens when we rely totally on imports - eg oil and gas.......WHEN will the sleepwalkers wake up??

This is happening all over the UK. It's happened in my home city in Scotland. Most social housing is now going to asylum seekers/migrants and they are taking priority over local people. There is no chance of local people now coming to the top of the housing list. My city has got to now house over 2,000 asylum seekers that the Home Office have allowed to stay and new flats are being built for 300 near me.

Interesting, as some of our own homeless, are homeless because they neglected the previous home they had. I personally think that we should have several tiers of housing, starting at very basic accommodation, which individuals can move up the housing rental market by showing that they can look after the *free* home they are being allowed to live in. With basic meals given, but no money to flitter away at the very start. If people haven't got an incentive to contribute, they will just take.

My dad is 80, served 13 years in the air force, worked since he was 15 till retirement at 67. He still pays for his dental, opticians and prescriptions, this is because he paid into a pension that he pays tax on. He gets no help with council tax or rent but these scum get luxury apartments, phones, free health care. Veterans are living on the streets, pentioners living hand to mouth, unable to heat their homes but turn up on a dingy and youre in luck. Disgusting and disgraceful, when this turns into civil war the government will have no one dlse to blame.

1.) These are not asylum seekers - they are econominc migrants/illegal immigrants 2.) Where is is written posh accomodations must be provided for them? 3.) What about all the British people looking for housing. homeless veterans and other people?

Agree ,it's disgusting. My daughter and granddaughter have been living with us for 6 months now after leaving abusive relationship. Local rents are through the roof and the demand is so high if you can't pay bulk amounts of rent you won't get it anyway. The social housing demand is also so high that unless you have the highest level of points you don't stand a chance there either. I keep seeing stories of homeless freezing to death too, plus all the vets on the streets. It makes me sick that this crap is happening!!!

They got themselves good career qualifications while in the army, and good jobs on when they left. All have homes and families. I hear that the ones who are homeless are the ones who spent all the earnings on booze and having a time while on their time off, instead of saving money. My dad served in ww2, didn't end up on the streets. Bought a house when mum and dad married, and had a good job. Alot of these vets on the streets are druggies or alcoholics.

£1,400 pcm , a First class ticket to their own Countries would have worked out much cheaper for the Taxpayers , but then the 200+ Charities and Businesses looking after the Gimmegrants every need would not be making all those £ Millions

Yes, people can turn up in this country and get a free flat on the Hampshire/Surrey border which is a highly affluent area. The average price for a 2 bed flat is around £369,000. If they get a 3 bed semi-detached house they would be getting free use of a property worth on average £642,000. Young locals who work cannot afford to rent or buy there. This is disgraceful. Put the asylum seekers in secure camps.

Junior doctors get a starting salary of 50k so they can afford a home. That’s not the point anyway. But yes your right. Our own youth can’t afford a property. So why do we hear nothing about what is being done about the criminal gangs? Why does every 'solution' to this invasion of so-called 'asylum seekers' mean that they remain here? In all my 86 years have I never seen our beloved country in such a ghastly state.

This is a total outrage These flats should be available for our own citizens alone and never offered to asylum seekers. The most sickening thing is how the government has tried to hush up this awful plan to keep the locals in ignorance of it all.

So vote them out. Don't fall for the narrative 'a vote for Reform is a vote for Labour'. Its more of project fear. The truth is we have nothing to lose by voting outside the box. It's a risk worth taking given that the two main parties have one and the same agenda. In fact all the parties presently represented in parliament are against the British people.
