We know, by all the different measures, that many more people are dying now than were before the pandemic.
In particular, the impact on people’s hearts, and increasingly younger people’s hearts, deserves attention. The British Heart Foundation reported last June that since the start of the pandemic, 100,000 more people have died than would have been expected. That is surely significant cause for us to take this question seriously.
We know that there are adverse effects from the vaccination. Everybody acknowledges that; it is a question of the extent to which those effects have been manifested.
I am afraid, is that the MHRA is significantly deficient in the way it operates. The Cumberlege report-this was referenced in the earlier debate-raised concerns about the way treatments are regulated and licensed that have not yet been addressed.
I am afraid that through the covid episode many of the same concerns were manifested in relation to the vaccines.
We now know that the MHRA knew about the effect of the AstraZeneca vaccine on blood clotting as early as February 2021, but issued a warning about that only some months later-in April, a month after other countries had suspended the AZ vaccine. The MHRA also knew about the prevalence of heart problems and myocarditis in February 2021 but did nothing about it until June that year. In the intervening time, millions of people were vaccinated without the knowledge that the MHRA had. As has been said, we found out recently that Pfizer misrepresented the safety and efficacy of the vaccine. There has been very little comeback against it for that, and no meaningful fine. As we heard, just a few thousands pounds were charged in expenses.
The regulatory system that oversees the pharmaceutical companies is surely deeply conflicted, not least due to being partly funded by the pharmaceutical companies that it was set up to represent.
It is significant and of concern that they have made so much money out of the vaccines, and so far do not appear to be making due recompense for some of the acknowledged harms- I am not talking about the wilder claims-that their vaccines have been responsible for. Will the Minister enlighten us on whether the indemnities against civil and Government action that the Government awarded to the vaccine manufacturers at the beginning of the production process still apply if it transpires that the companies misled the Government and the public about the safety and efficacy of their product?
The inquiry has been mentioned. There are so many unanswered questions and apparent red flags that it surprises me that the media and Parliament are not more up in arms about excess deaths.
I am surprised that more attention is not being paid to this question.
The fact is that this scandal-if it is a scandal-suits no one in high places in our country.
It is true that we have an inquiry, but as the hon. Member for Blackley and Broughton said, surely it is asking the wrong questions.
It is very concerning that the module looking at the vaccination programme has been postponed.
It strikes me that the inquiry is essentially asking the wrong questions; it is really just asking why we did not do more lockdowns quicker. That seems to be its prevailing question for the experts-not whether the whole response was the right one, and crucially, in the light of what we now know, whether the final response of a mass vaccination programme was as safe and effective as was claimed.
We are rightly proud in this country of the effectiveness, speed and operation of the vaccine production and roll-out. It was a triumph of effective collaboration between Government and the private sector. The operation of the roll-out was a victory that all people can acknowledge, but it is not enough to say that the roll-out was done well. Was it done safely? Did it need to be done on the scale on which it was done? Particularly, did young people need to be vaccinated at all? We all remember Kate Bingham and others saying early on that the vaccine was only for the older population. These questions are increasingly being asked by the public and raised in the media.
Let me conclude quickly with what I have been doing. I hope that we will get more answers from the Minister than I have had so far from the Government. On 17 April 2023-a year ago yesterday-I wrote privately to the Secretary of State, asking him for evidence that justified the Government’s assertion that there was no link between the vaccines and the excess deaths. I did that because I had so much correspondence from people raising that concern. I said:

This. Politicians attitudes certainly have changed. They are increasingly revealing the contempt for the citizens they work for. Not sure about the UK, but some time around the year 2000 the median public sector worker, for the first time, received greater lifetime remuneration than the private sector worker. Considering that the government gets all their revenue from taxes and this ability is backed up by the threat of jail and confiscation of property, how is this different from Feudalism? You are transferring wealth from poorer people to richer people by force.
An MPs absence should be viewed as a confession.

It's not difficult to find very wealthy people involved in the funding and development of these experimental drugs advocating out loud on video for "depopulation". They tell us with a straight face "if we increase 'healthcare' we can decrease the population". Do people live longer or shorter lives when they are more healthy? Do people generally have more kids or less kids when they are healthy and comfortable? None of what they're saying or doing makes any sense unless you take their calls for and end-goal of "depopulation" on face value. They're telling us the quiet part out loud.
all MPs who refuse to cooperate with the investigation should be summarily dismissed. Let the people administer justice and not a bunch of power-hungry idiots

@TriTr-qd2bd Not yet, but if there is any justice left in this world ( I'm beginning to doubt there is) it'll catch up to them one day. At the moment they are doing all they can to suppress the incriminating evidence, still in the denial stage, they can't keep the lid on it forever though. Still they'll push forward with their plans for us. They will face ever growing resistance though.
We a losing young once healthy folk at a rate worse than the world wars. Why is nobody even talking about this. It should be the whole West's number one concern.
Those MPS who never bothered to show up, do not deserve to keep their seats, when there are local elections remember this and vote them out, we deserve representation not cover-ups.

Hello, my name is Rebeka Patterson from Garrison, Texas USA, East Texas. In June of 2022, my husband had severe heart damage after the second shot of the Covid vaccine. Heart function at 30% with no blockage or blood clots. Afib. Forced to take the vaccine by his employer to keep his job as a maintenance man at a nursing home. He's waiting for a hearing the end of July 2024 almost two years after heart failure to receive social security/disability after he was forced into early retirement @59 years of age. I am Australian and during the Covid years our State MP was very enthusiastic about promoting the C-shots even making it a type of competition among the towns in his electorate to see which town could get the most people jabbed. I wrote to him a number of times warning him about the possible consequences of the C-shots, but was ignored. A few weeks ago he resigned not only his elected position, but also resigned from politics - in order to "take on some new challenges in the corporate world and take on some opportunities in my own personal life". I reckon that he has sensed which way the wind is blowing and wants to make himself invisible when the SHTF about the C-shots.

The people that need to help find the answers to and solutions to this devastating scourge unleashed upon the whole of humanity, should do everything in their power to address this. At 'Warp Speed' might I add. Today is time to turn this around for to many tomorrows might be to late. Follow your conscience and your instincts. 5 coworkers all female, all in their 20s, all nurses got MYo c a.r d..itis, one male coworker went deaf for several weeks, my sister 27 at the tine got MYO the first one then after the 3rd was diagnosed with Cushings disease and had a ❤ attack week after. I know 11 people currently with cancer all jabs

Om goodness I'm sorry to hear that , I would not recommend anyone to get booster there more potent that the covid vax awhile back. I had COVID not that long ago i was so ill and so sick never in my life been that sick like that , it has caused ra arthritis inflammation flare ups , tendonitis severe ringing and hurting ears felt like I literally went deaf , anxiety bad storms of severe anxiety panic attacks , brain fog, insomnia and depression, bones ache and pop insomnia, and hormone change up and down menopause found out last year by two docs but it's perimenapause though low iron and vit d covid causes too , I try to keep up with informative information of covid in general, and what they are doing to our food water and air , smh just as bad, I pray for you and your family you all get better and friends that you know had have covid or the vax at that full recovery healing in Jesus Christ mighty name , amen
