Always wondered what are the crosshairs for? Is it for the center, a reference point for the angle of the eye? If someone knows that will be nice.

Yes, a useful reference, so you can compare the angle of the drawn line to a perfect vertical or horizontal.

Im looking forward to your videos. Just let me share my thought, while practicing these plates i put my lines very carefully and slowly. So there is usually no need to erase or darken the lines. Your working style seems a little fast and loose for me. Maybe that was just done for to suit for the short youtube video. But usually, it takes my 30+ mins to copy an sight size at almost perfect manner. Thanks. Btw, do you measure the length of the lines while drawing? Because i work like that for now, i measure the origianl line with my pen and put it on my drawing to compare.

I don't teach much measuring at all, I find it helps a student get to a certain level and then they plateau. I teach my entire philosophy and drawing method in a series of videos I call "Into to Classical Drawing", which includes about 2 years of drawing training for a very affordable price. svatelier.net/downloads/intro-to-classical-drawing-and-bargue-plates-r1/

There is no easy answer to your question. There are no recipes. Hard pencils are lighter but can make a thinner, more precise line. Soft pencils make a broader, less controlled line, but they can create darker marks. Use the pencils that work best for what you are trying to achieve. Art is not science.
