Excelerate - West Midlands Ambulance Service Command Vehicle Launch
West Midlands Ambulance Service (WMAS) has launched a brand new bespoke incident command vehicle with the latest technology to deal with major and prolonged incidents. With technology integration and satellite services provided by Excelerate, this state-of-the-art unit will provide a communications hub and base for the Ambulance Service’s commanders at the scene for the duration of an incident.

great! but can they get a patient to hospital before they die from a va*c induced heart attack!!
Successfully convinced to purchase. Unnecessary. How? is something going to happen? Get them to hospital as quickly as possible. Not a lot of help in the past. Should be part of the Fire and Rescue Service. Copied everything they do anyway including uniforms - except dangerous firefighting. Havers! What next. Tending to clutter up incidents by arriving without request. Only one control unit at large emergency incidents of the Fire and Rescue Service.
