Excel: How to Lock a Checkbox on a Protected Sheet

In this video, I'll provide a solution to a common issue faced by Excel users: You have a worksheet that contains one or more checkboxes. You've enabled Sheet Protection yet the checkbox can still be checked and unchecked. Sheet Protection does not extend to checkboxes directly. This video shows you how to prevent a checkbox being changed on a sheet where Sheet Protection has been enabled.

    Morning Mike (and Elaine) hope you’re both okay, very interesting challenge for a Sunday morning, question: years ago, even if a sheet is password protected it could still be printed out

    @pandamonium9834 We're good thank you. Yes you can still print a password protected sheet. The only way I can think of to prevent a sheet being printed is to use VBA that is attached to the Print event. But even that won't stop someone taking a screenshot and printing that. If you can see it you can print it
