Example 03 on Projection of Solids
A square prism 35 mm sides of base and 60 mm axis length rests on HP on one of its corners of the base such that the two base edges containing the corner on which it rests make equal inclinations with HP. Draw the projections of the prism when the axis of the prism is inclined to HP at 40 degrees and to VP 30 degrees.

Sir why axis is inclined 41° to VP since the question has mentioned 40° to VP ??? Can't we incline directly 40° to VP ?

Hi, 👋 a good question, to explain the concept, the axis is parallel to VP in stage one front view (FV). By stage 2, the axis is inclined to HP, and its projections in top view is a reduced length (apparent length). 30° to VP was the true angle, so we constructed the apparent angle which is 41°.
Sir axis inclination+base inclination =90° so we take 50° to HP it is right?
