I have the Thule roof mounted rack. I went into the parking garage at work at about 7 miles per hour. The bike is hosed, my roof is hosed, but the rack was unscathed, and the bike was still securely attached. It literally ripped the crossbars right off my Subaru.
Good video and good advice. I have a roof rack type instsructions were super vague, i also use a dog collar as extra grip for holding the tyre in place. i also noticed going round corners the cross bars flex slightly in the middle.So definately do check all compotents every time before use!
Note taken: Don't buy MontBlanc bike racks :D
