You guys are awesome! I was off and on home brewing for 10 years but when COVID hit and I had nothing better to do than watch KZread, it was your guy’s channels I got into. Now I brew every chance I get and get all the compliments from neighbors and friends for the great tasting beer! (*Sometimes I forget to tell my friends that it’s your guy’s recipe) Thank you!

Thanks for covering this, while I was aware of the limits as I did a ton of research prior to buying your system I am sure many people are not aware of these limits.

Martin is certainly a mad man, cant wait for the BJCP to drop some more styles just to see him brew them up!

he could try the Brewers Association Beer Style Guidelines, there more style if you compare to the BJCP

Don't care about time or volume if Martin can have such an awesome output of beers and content all power to him. Martin! Keep doing you brother! We all love what you're doing

Damn! I just grabbed a G70 and it is only 3000 watts to get 16 gallons or so to boil decently quick, 5500 watts on your system would be silly fast to get 3 gallons to boil. Great story time video!

I just brewed my first beer on the Clawhammer 10g 240v system Saturday! Going to take some getting used to over the old propane biab, wart came to a boil so fast I didn't even drink my first beer! I guess I need to start drinking when I put the water in the kettle......... or sooner. So far, I like this system. 👌

Gov't always wants their tax money! Does the Gov't really think homebrewed beer will go into some black market and sold in alleyways????

My local HB store looks cross-eyed at me when I go in as I homebrew on a 1BBL system. The catch is I brew 4 times a year and there are 2 of us.

1BBL is 1 Beer Barrels which is equal to 31 gallons for those like me that never heard of such sizes. Cheers.

Traditional farmhouse brewers in northern Europe would brew once a year and brew enough for the whole year.

Jamil Zainascheff has definitely brewed all 99 styles of Bjcp and won medals and now owns Heretic Brewing co........brew on.....

There is a loophole in the law, btw. You can legally not add volume to your total if you donate it to a non-profit event where they take donations for the beer. You just need a non-profit and bam, you can homebrew as much as you want for $0 donations at "events".

There should be a God given “2nd Amendment” regarding the amount of beer a man may brew and own!

You can brew 3 gallon batches in our 10.5 gal kettle. In fact, all of Martin’s batches were 3 gallons.

52 Calendar weeks in a year. 5gal avg batch, puts him at 260gallons in a year, possibly 60 gallons over. IF AND ONLY IF all batches all batches are 5gallons. There's lots of 1 gallon and 2 / 2.5 gallon recipes out there. Moreover, getting the next level higher small brewer license is relatively cheap and easy. If like you say 2.5 gallon batches that's 130gal well below the legal limit. Your stuff on how he did it was interesting enough without the clickbait-y Legal portions.

In Texas it is 200 gallons per household and the law is a bit sexist. Sorry Flora can’t brew as the statute is riddled with he/himself/his. Apparently only dudes are allowed to homebrew in Texas.

Other than documenting yourself breaking the law, and then making it public, I don't see how anyone would know how much beer you've made. I get that this is the whole point here, dude documented himself, but in a run-of-the-mill homebrewer's life I don't get how someone would get busted for brewing too much beer. Always good to challenge the system though!!

Prohibition is over. If that many people are breaking the law by making more beer than is allowed, then the government, public servants, MUST change the law to reflect the people's will.
