Ex-top investor in Russia explains what's really driving Putin

Bill Browder, a former top investor in Russia before Putin turned on him, says that Putin's invasion of Ukraine is driven by his need to survive.
Western pressure on Russia hasn't stopped Putin's latest provocations
Analysis by Maeve Reston, CNN
(CNN)The US took new steps to ratchet up pressure on Russian President Vladimir Putin on Wednesday -- announcing new economic sanctions to punish Russia for its invasion of Ukraine on the same day that US Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen and other finance ministers walked out of a G20 summit in Washington in protest once Russia's delegate began his remarks.
Those moves were rich with symbolism about Western intentions to keep tightening the vise around Russia's economy as the US and its allies try to isolate Putin on the world stage. But they looked feeble against the backdrop of Putin's provocative test launch of Russia's new intercontinental ballistic missile and the allies' inability to save civilians as the latest evacuation attempts from Mariupol collapsed Wednesday.

Russia spent years supplying weapons Bashar al Assad and when he was criticized for it, Putin replied that they were just selling weapons to the "legitimate government of Syria" and that the practice was "in full compliance with the norms of International law". Ukraine's government is way more legitimate than Syria's regime will ever be, since Zelensky was elected w/ 73% of the votes in 2019 elections certified by OCSE, PACE and IEOM as free and fair, so Putin doesn't have the slightest right to bother us about arms sales to Ukraine..

We have to reform democracy, stop political campaign of millions of money from corporations interest, change their names for public servants give them minimum to medium wage maximum, take only people who's interested in having no private finance and disclosure of how much they make so we have control and keep a watch of corruption, stop with the circus debate on parliament, we vote for the issues we face, stopping misleading the public about right and left wing politics, remove the party system. We should be able to choose the most smart public servants to work for the country and strengthen it as never before. All the money interest aside. Get the big corporations to pay their fair share of tax, change for better. It has to be a revolution. Attract only people who feel interest for making a better country and governance and put aside money interest, those on money should go into business. It would be like creating a new system of governance. This thing would be like putting a limit on what government body representatives can earn max so limiting their power and we could turn the wheel round either ways easily when at the same time have more say on the things that affect the country. Those on gov representatives unsatisfied with the system could donate part of their wealth to keep on government if they like, but that would have to be on the watch so not to exceed a certain limit and also their work ethics, not to say the least our vote. It can be and should be fairer to everybody. Democracy is dead the way it is, doesn't serve us the majority and we're approaching more uncertain tension times as never before with climate and wars, we've got to change to survive. We've got to get ready to form one only government in the world, so we can cease all disputes on imbalanced economy, resources and environment. It might come as an ending conclusion to the chaos, but it has to start from a point with a medium or big society on this planet so for this we must start developing as the vision for the future as soon as possible.

80 80 - TRAITOR TRUMP MADE THAT REMARK ABOUT PUTIN! WHY? TRUMP LOVES PUTIN, XI, HITLER, SAUDI PRINCES, TALIBAN, AND ANY OTHER TERRORIST GROUP NOT MENTIONED BECAUSE TRUMP ACTS LIKE THEM, BELIEVES IN THEM, IS A DICTATOR JUST LIKE THEM, IS A TRAITOR JUST LIKE THEM, WILL DO ANYTHING VS THEIR COUNTRY OR THEIR PEOPLE - JUST LIKE THEM BECAUSE HE WANTS TO STAY IN POWER, HE'S GREEDY JUST LIKE THEM. TRUMP NEVER MATURED BECAUSE HIS PARENTS PROBABLY SPOILED HIM ROTTEN TO THE CORE. MOST PEOPLE ARE MISLED, TRUMP HAS BILLIONS BUT IN ACTUALITY HE PROBABLY doesn't have 1/2 of what he claims to have in his Russian banks, as one of his son's so blatantly likes to broadcast to US journalists. "We can get all the money we need from Russia." Wow, Russia must have Trump over a barrel someplace in the world and Putin is protecting him in some way. Trump has a Russian passport. Does he have dual citizenship with Russia? I do not know. Trump certainly traded secrets with RUSSIA in the 2016 ELECTION which proves he is a TRAITOR. Plus, we have seen and heard about all the criminal acts he has committed throughout his life in business connections, he rarely pays his contractors for their work. I guess he thinks he is entitled like many rich kids growing up today, they have that attitude. Plus, we know he is criminally involved in many Transactions that took place while he was the 45th President!! When DOJ is finished with their investigations, the world will see and heat all about it!!!! BILLIONAIRES STICK UP FOR BILLIONAIRES BECAUSE THEY DO NOT WANT TO PAY TAXES, MOST OF THEM ARE GREEDY AND THEY CRAVE POWER AND ADMIRATION FROM PEOPLE AROUND THEM...TRUMP IS NO DIFFERENT. HE IS AN OVERGROWN 5 YEAR OLD WITH NO COMMON OR POLITICAL SENSE WHICH IS WHY HE IS LOVED BY ALL FOREIGN LEADERS, HE NEVER KNOWS WHEN.TO KEEP HIS BIG MOUTH SHUT AND PROTECT OUR COUNTRY'S SECRETS OR INTERESTS!! HE'S LIKE YACKITY YACK, DON'T TALK BACK!!!!

Here are six Conundrums of socialism in the United States of America: 1. America is capitalist and greedy - yet half of the population is subsidized. 2. Half of the population is subsidized - yet they think they are victims. 3. They think they are victims - yet their representatives run the government. 4. Their representatives run the government - yet the poor keep getting poorer. 5. The poor keep getting poorer - yet they have things that people in other countries only dream about. 6. They have things that people in other countries only dream about-yet they want America to be more like those other countries. These three, short sentences tell you a lot about the direction of our current government and cultural environment: 1. We are advised to NOT judge ALL Muslims by the actions of a few lunatics, but we are encouraged to judge ALL gun owners by the actions of a few lunatics. Funny how that works. And here's another one worth considering... 2. Seems we constantly hear about how Social Security is going to run out of money. But we never hear about welfare or food stamps running out of money! What's interesting is the first group "worked for their money, but the second didn't. Think about it......and Last but not least: 3. Why are we cutting benefits for our veterans, no pay raises for our military and cutting our army to a level lower than before WWII, but we are not stopping the payments or benefits to illegal aliens. Am the only one missing something? "If you do not take an interest in the affairs of your government, then you are doomed to live under the rule of FOOLS.

Moreover, they have known each other for a long time, share political views and are supporters in the political struggle. Both have outstanding intellectual abilities, are very influential, have wide personal connections in the highest echelons of the world political elite. Bill Browder, in fact, publicly stated that Kara-Murza informed him of his voluntary intention to return to Russia in order to become one of the new state political leaders of the new Russia ... That is, from the point of view of Kara-Murza, the state system of Russian power is at the very end of its existence. As is known from history and "traditionally instituted in dictatorial systems" in the vast majority of cases, when the government changes, the new government always replaces the old one only from prison, since there are no legitimate opposing parties and forces at large and cannot be. I assume that this is the real reason that Kara-Murza voluntarily came to Russia to get into prison, and from there to the very top of the new political power in Russia ... It remains only to observe how accurate the forecasts and tactics of these two politicians are and how correct the tactics of their actions are.
