you're totally right! there are two reasons why this works so perfect. first, we all know that women can sing higher than men, but there are also other ways to distinguish voices, in this case, Ashley has kinda nose voice, which is not bad and sounds good actually, on the other hand, Vanessa has a cristal clear voice, which seems to sound higher than Ashley but it is not, they just have different natural frequency boost, these diferences are part of the magic. Besides, this was profesionally produced.

I love Ashley’s voice omg!!

Seeing this and knowing Vanessa is pregnant... Man, time does fly. Such great moments huh?

It's so dumb they didn't give them a duet. I could easily think of 100 ways two teenage girls could sing to each other and still keep in line with the high school musical story. Such a missed opportunity. So happy they gave us this at least.
