Thanks Cade! I enjoyed the manual flight parts of the Dash 8, and I worked with some fantastic people and we had a lot of fun running around in our turboprop!
I just love the Q400, I had the Majestic in FSX, and now have the Q4XP. They are fun to fly. Btw., you missed the Aux Fuel Pumps in the After TO Checklist 😉
Man I miss the days of being able to go to the flight deck. I was luckily able to do that as a kid as well but darnit I wish I could do it as an adult! Or at least the days when they left the door open and you could watch them work :)
I loved this plane in p3d. Not sure the xplane one has enough performance for me to consider. miss flying the q400!
Love your Dash 8 videos. Any chance you can do one showing the correct procedure for an RNAV approach? I couldn’t figure out how to do it so I just put in the approach, use VNAV to get to the IAF and deselect ALT SEL so that it keeps descending to the runway but this can’t be the right procedure. Assuming you are cleared incrementally down by ATC onto the approach and then given clearance to fly the RNAV approach, how do you initiate it? Thanks!
i believe Twitch has just introduced a draconian new policy which forbids multi-streaming on ALL accounts, not just affiliates, so... there's that to consider.
That indeed a really strange FMS! What is the point of even having soft keys but then using numbers instead? WEIRD!
