Lets be clear: This guy is guilty of failing to intervene. But he also was never educated in his Constitutional and Federal Law requirement to do so. Now he is being victimized by the woke leftist mob/ and Courts due to and because of this ignorance (and lack of training/ education). They are making an example out of him, unjustly. Never is mentioned the fact of the drugs in George Floyds system, which contributed to his death. Never is mentioned the crimes and behaviors of himself (Personal Responsibility), that precipitated his death/ put him in the position of encountering Police. Never is mentioned his criminal history of robbing and holding a woman and her children at gunpoint during one of several suspected home invasion robberies. Never is mentioned the fact that under Minnesota Law and Federal Law/ Law Enforcement Training/ Policy, the knee hold was considered a lawful hold and police tactic to control a person [presumably] resisting arrest to gain compliance. So the entire system is screwed up. And yet the Governments of Minnesota, nor the United States, nor any other institution, Law Enforcement Agencies, etc. have revised their training. Police Unions, as well as Qualified Immunity protecting Police Officers. The reality is NO GOVERNMENT WORKER, should have Qualifed Immunity. And Qualified Immunity will never be abolished so long as Prosecutors enjoy Prosecutorial Immunity for their Crimes (and misconduct) and Judges enjoy "Judicial Immunity" for their crimes, indiscretions, and Judicial Misconduct. The collective for-profit Government Criminal Justice System and Prison Industrial Complex is a Universal and all encompassing Institution of Law and Profit, an Industry, many times over Morality, Decency, or Common Sense/ Reasoning/ Rational Though, founded and molded over centuries. These people are powerful and have undue/ unwarranted protections, and until We the People removed their undue influence and false corrupt protections for their crimes and misconduct, the False/ Corrupt Protections of Qualified Immunity for Police Officers and Governement Employees, will never be removed/ abolished. Of course this removal of unwarranted Immunities for Police Officers and Government Employees, can never be removed, until we train them properly, including and especially in Constitutional Law, and Federal Law. The system is corrupt because it punishes Police Officers and Citizens alike, for their ignorance of the Law. Yet every year instead of the Legislators doing at least half their job, and repealing Unconstitutional, Unjust, Unnecessary Laws, they literally NEVER repeal laws, because it pays them nothing to do so. This is the corrupt influence of MONEY over service to our Nation, and their Constituents. They do not receive Lobbying, Campaign Contributions, or Career Advancement Opportunities, for repealing laws. Yet a small limited Government continues to grow out of control, and become increasingly corrupt, tyrannical, treasonous, and bureaucratic, gradually removing all vestiges of Liberty, Freedom, and Opportunity for the people. Are we supposed to on the one hand accuse a police office of failing to intervene, and neglecting or dereliction of duty, while at the same time, never training him that he has a duty and obligation to intervene against his fellow armed officers? Are we supposed to merely allow it to devolve into violence and a potential shootout between officers? This is the most foolish, irresponsible, ignorant, and corrupted institutional system in existence (arguably). Indeed there is far greater responsibility in this event/ crime (the death/ murder of George Floyd), but Government branches and the Judiciary at all levels (State, Local, Federal) but only citizens (the Police Officers themselves) will ever be held accountable. There will be no systemic reform, or anyone in BLM, George Soros, or anyone else, Lobbying Politicians and Organizing/ Enforcing Real Systemic Change, Drafting Legislation, etc.
