Yo Mitch, I ended up with a pair of your old Adidas Predator boots from your Carlton days. A mutual acquaintance gifted them to me because they were too big. Had texta/sharpie initial's and number, MR 13 written near the heel. They ended their days on the battlefields of the over 35's wet season soccer comp. Yep....just know that your boots mate, scored some screamers against goal keepers that were usually drinking before the game. Good times.

Who's on staff @ ProKick Australia? From early 2000s or so, UHawaii has been sending players from "a Land Down Under" to NFL/CFL & other leagues. Most recently, remember Alex Dunnachie, Mat McBriar went to NFL & Scott Harding went back to Australia, after finishing college eligibility. TONS O Fun watching them play!

I've just started the process with ProKick to look at going to the CFL and UFL after walking away from competitive footy. it's pretty eye opening how fucking different the kicking mechanics are to hitting a barrel with a Sherrin. I'd be all about seeing the timeline of Robbo going to a college campus haha

With only 1 punter per team in the NFL and great punters like Mike Turk www.youtube.com/@Hangtime37 from Oklahoma unable to make a roster. Unless you are punting it 60 yards on a dime with over 5 sec hang time it would be difficult to break in.

I reckon for an ex AFL player, like Mitch, being a kicker in the NFL would be a fairly easy way of picking up some superannuation. AFL players do not earn anything like NFL players, but they are very well paid compared to most other people in Australia, and for doing something they are good at and love.
