I don't think is confidence what made Ewan open up more. I think he wanted to protect his identity so he could portrait any character convincingly. However, I think he finally understood he needs exposure if he wants to participate in the entertainment industry. I bet that decision was not easy for him. I am glad he did. He is an amazing actor and surely a lot of doors are going to open for him from now on 😊

Unsurprising, it was an unnecessary addition that ruined the coronation scene and diminished their characters, or specifically Aegon's moment just to end the episode with another "cool", "badass" scene for the Blacks, wich was totally forced and nonsensical, when they could have shown Aegon and Helaena mounting their dragons and flying over Kings Landing instead.
