I think some fans miss the vibe 2014 had and KOTM had. It was like this "mystical primal-like" vibe those two movies gave off with Godzilla and later Ghidora. Kong VS Godzilla and The New Empire feel pretty heavily different vibe wise. They are a lot more action packed, which is kickass don't get me wrong. But they feel "very in your face" kind of action

The high dive off Gibraltar was beyond epic. I was thinking how the people watching would have been awed by how smooth dive then terrified when they realized there is a huge tsunami coming right at them. I also love that "if he fits he sits" sleeping at the Colosseum.

In the previous monsterverse movies, Godzilla was seen as a slow, destructive monster. But over time, he has got faster and more powerful. (As seen in Godzilla: King of the Monsters, and Godzilla vs Kong.) In the 2019 Movie, Godzilla was slightly faster, and in the 2021 Movie, Godzilla's speed and combat level has also got faster (Slightly faster than in the 2019 Movie), And now here, In Godzilla x Kong, he now moves so fast, to the point he is able to fight against kaijus in unique ways, and leap, run, jump, and thrash, etc. In my opinion, this Movie is by far, one of THE best Monsterverse movies I have ever seen, as there is now more Action and combat in each Kaijus in fun ways, rather than more human scenes. Also, Happy 10th Anniversary Monsterverse!

I love the way Godzilla is just an absolute juggernaut. Shimo’s breath is normally a OHK, but Godzilla just shrugs it off, and Skar King is basically used as a chew toy, legging it as soon as atomic breath comes out.

A king does not need a lot of time to show why he's the king.

Gojira really was a menace in this movie. Absolutely unhinged.

Honestly Kong’s extra screen time was required to flush out Skar King more. The main antagonist was an evil ape after all. Zilla’s screen time might be less in this movie but he wrecked more Kaijus in this movie than any other. I also read the next movie is supposed to be more Godzilla focused so stop whining

My mum couldn't see this film due to having cancer. Thanks to your upload here, we were able to watch the Godzilla scenes in hospital together before she passed. Thank you so much for giving me that ❤

Magnificent. Let's hope the sequel gives the big guy an equally epic story for himself. GXK the New Empire was awesome!!!!

We need the next movie to make Godzilla take the final blow for the villian.

Agreed, it's really a downgrade from 2014 and KOTM. The monsters seemed and felt so colossal and heavy. I do kind of understand the speed though, since these newer movies are supposed to be more centered around the POV of the monsters instead

@@viksta6834 That, and it's supposed to pay homage to the Showa era of Godzilla films. The director said he'd like to make the next movie focused on Godzilla and that its atmosphere would be serious again like in 2014
