@austinkeen braaa help I cannot decide whether to do the bamboo or carbon. I surf skate snowboard you name it have ridden flexy long boards for 25 years, only reason I’m seriously considering carbon is because I live in San Francisco and there are epic mountain bike trails, but can I live without flex? 🥴

Thank Austin, very much appreciated. I was never a skater so zero skills there but I did get GTR couple of days ago, same camo wheels and same orange remote as I figured out it would be easier to find after many of my anticipated falls. Took me about two hours to get used to the board but I have to say this is an absolutely fantastic piece of kit and worth it’s asking price. I came of the board few times but never fell and ended up pushing it quite hard on a field with short grass. Even my five year old son had time of his life in the safe mode. Had a very special day with my three kids - priceless. Oh, and all three love watching your skimboarding videos.

Just read your comment, I ordered this board yesterday as I'm off work with my 3 young kids while my wife is in hospital and wanted something fun for us to do. I was second guessing my decision as they're not cheap, but reading about your kids loving it just made may day. Hope your still riding, cheers

I love the Bamboo deck, and I believe batteries are easily swappable on this version. Just a couple drawbacks for me. Top speed could be a little higher given the money you're spending for this thing, and If I'm shelling out this kind of money, I'm thinking I may as well go the distance and get the BajaBoard G4X. IDK, I like both.

Can’t wait for the follow up video, and how about a slide tutorial?

I just got this board and I paid $2050 here in Australia. I enjoy the board as a first time owner of an e board and learning how to actually have fun on it I know it can be very sketchy if you don’t be careful. But all round fun board will definitely be upgrading once I feel this board has giving me all it can

I subscribed you live fairly close to me,I own a V2 dual + and a Riptide R1,I want to buy the Evolve GTR carbon 2 in1 but they are sold out right now and the site won’t let me order so I will wait and keep checking the web site each month,the reason I really want the 2 in 1 is just like in your vid you were on the sidewalk and people everywhere but you were able to go on the grass and go around those people,I want that.To many people in South County you know.By the way I am in my sixties can’t get enough of e skating.😎

28 days before ONE OF THE MOTORS BNURNED OUT. Evolve first replied with an autogenerated email stating to send money to cover repairs ($20.00 up to $75.00), EVEN though I purchased a three year warranty and HAD NOT HAD IT FOR A MONTH. Unable to reach any with service or now even sales. Sad, this could have been a great product but instead sell the idea of how cool it is rather than a product that does what is advertized,,

The belt slipped pretty bad for a first ride if you ask me this means bad quality board

@@AustinKeen an average consumer wont know they need to tighten the belt which will result in their board deteriorating quicker overtime. this is why the one wheel is better because less moving parts and more durable straight out the box.

We will see how it performs under my 280 ass. Love their products, time for an upgrade. I'm stoked because where I am in the Northeast I'm 4 miles from some really nice trails and fields. Like the flex with the bamboo better than the carbon but I love the new carbon. Driving me crazy

Cloody Tube me neither! My old carbon gt pairs straightaway every time with the r2 remote, and gets 15miles on the AT wheels

I'm sold

And after just those 8 miles the tyres and belts are completely shredded

Eric K they also say it’s not water resistant but it still works fine, it’s more then just saying if it breaks because of dirt it’s not their fault even though they know it’s fine. Same as the new iPhones are insanely waterproof but they only advertise a couple meters for half an hour. Someone took it into the ocean for ages and still works a dream

Stop looking for faults. I threw the belt off after doing really hard slides in soft sand and loose trucks. Totally normal under that circumstance. I simply readjusted the belt and it’s back to normal, jeeze......🙄
