I cant wait until the next video. I own that same board and I am looking to get into building my own Mountainboard over the winter thanks to your series! If I could ask, during these evolve series, could you go over the evolve electrical components (if you still have them)? Also if there is anything you do not like about their battery design or components.

The guy I did this for turned out to be an arse, I did all this for him for free and he constantly hassled me for updates so I just wrapped it up quickly and gave it back. I didnt film any more videos

Hell yeah. Love this. Btw, I'm not seeing your last couple videos come up with 4k resolution. Perhaps check the render resolution? Either way, this is one of my favorites, and I'm really enjoying these technical videos. I can live vicariously through you, without having to relearn riding an ESkate. 😁👍

Mario Contino Hi mate! I am editing in Luma fusion and set the output resolution to 4K ultra 150mb/s. Then I upload it straight to KZread so it should be 4K. Anyways thank you! Glad you are enjoying the tech stuff!

@@rmoak06 I would go with the ones I got. You might have to pay import and VAT on the US ones as well as shipping.

I want to put evolve trucks on a Icarus style deck (drop thru w/ small kick tail) but it looks like I’ll get motor bite. Do you think offsetting the Mount by 15 or so degrees will give me enough room? Or are the trucks just far too flexy. I noticed this is why evolve choose the board they choose, and I could’ve answered my own question lol but I still want a second opinion.

Wow thanks man I am really wanting to build off the GT deck and trucks with same motors this is perfect. But which belts did you use? The regular 32T street belts will be too short?

Does anyone know if the propulsion boards evolve mounts are similar in size as the ones in this vid?

Did you just swap the motors or other adjustments r needed. I have contacted evolve about upgrade the motors they said I can't as the 63 motors are different spec and the electronic r not compatible with 63 motors. If I want to swap to 63 what I need to change? thanks

Hi Mate, is there any way you do custom builds for a person like me haha. My motor died on my Evolve GTR and i would need an motor Update like in your video too. I would try it myself but i know i will just order a bunch of expensive parts that arent even fit together since i have no idea at all about that stuff and start to rage like a sailor 😆

My BGTR is a month old and the bigger motors look awesome! I am colour blind and have some other sight issues which makes things difficult. Is there anyone around that I could send my board to, to get this mod done because I'm thinking it's not as straight forward as attaching the bigger motors? I think the motors u fitted are simular to the new Hadean motors? The standard motors are just too slow, thanks. And good video

I dont think they effect it too much unless it makes you have a heavier trigger finger!

To complete the upgrade you should also install a new enclosure from www.eboardsperu.com with a 12s5p battery and a Focbox Unity.

You’ll fry the BMS unit because it’s not designed to pull that much power not to mention the battery flex on the board

The board had a replacement battery pack already. I replaced the BMS to charge only and swapped the motor controller to a focbox unity 👍

Are you able to do this motor upgrade with the stock Evolve ESC or do you have to replace with an aftermarket/3rd party Vesc? I’ve already upgraded my GTX battery and installed an enclosure extension for the larger battery. However, I opted to stick w the Evolve ESC bc I really like the R2 remote and it only works w the Evolve ESC, since it’s proprietary (that’s what I’ve been told, at least).

Daniel Zhen will be no different as it’s the same battery voltage, same gearing and same wheels to stock

Daniel Zhen more torque, much more torque than the 50mm motors. That means they will also run cooler than the stock motors
