WOW does this bring back memories, great game for its time still amazing mechanics id like to see used again

I had so much fun playing this one... by the time the graffics looked so damm good

i really loved this game when teenager, i choose evolve each geno with just one good skill

First meaningful comment: this game is unique, even now, 20 years later, it looks original and interesting. Especially if you know what will happen next. I would like to find time to go through it again.

That is a VERY strange game ...

I loved playing this as a child, it's one of my favorite games until today.

me pasó igual , lo jugué con 6-7 años a los 22 años pude volver a encontrarlo y me dió extrema nostalgia después de casi 13 años si saber nada de él

man i wish i played this it looks cool i only found it because i was trying to look up the company that made john carpenter's the thing video game

How did you get this to run? I have dell g7 2060 rtx laptop and I brought it on steam and it just terminates when I launch it then when I change compatability mode to Windows 95 it fires up but then when I click new game and go to start a new game it loads all the way then shuts the game down 🤕

You could re-release this now and say it's an idie title and it would sell.

I remember buying this as a kid and being totally underwhelmed. Years later I can still see why.

@@micha5093 I found it incredibly boring and linear and even back then, the game looked dull graphically. Watching this video I get that old buyers remorse feeling I had back then.

@@KingHaggis Mannn, you're tripping, the game is actually super cool, it's an exploration game, perhaps that's what you don't like. When I played it, as a kid, I remember wondering "what's that animal? which abiltiy my hunters will get?", that's the fun about this game, the undiscovered country and is also a problem solving game with little puzzles you have to solve and, considering the evolution of the characters, I'd call it a RPG.

kill, eat, jump. Don't know the end, but it was too boring at the middle and i stop
