In the world of Amagar, a magical spell has caused a disastrous solar eclipse. In its wake come the return of the Dark Elves. As the Chosen One, your job is to destroy the Dark Elves and bring sunlight back to your land.
Dark Vengeance is a Tomb Raider-style hack-and-slash in a medieval setting. You've got the choice of three separate characters: Jetrel the Warlock, Kite the Trickster, and Nanoc the Gladiator. The character you select has a greater effect on the game than just what you look like and what attacks you can do. The levels also vary. In the levels themselves, you'll find items that only your character can use, but then again, you'll also find some power-ups that are useless.

Ive been looking for this game for YEARS and ive finally found it! Dark Vengeance is really a good looking game for a 1998 game, the graphics, gameplay, sound track are great for its time.

i'm searching for a game too! the game was showcased in a TV program, is about a psy warrior that can posses enemies. I really dont know if it came out or was one of those forgotten never released games. I dont know if it was for consoles or pc. The game uses the first person perspective. You even can fly as a ghost for a short period of time.

Soundtrack maybe, but voice? Kinda cringe
This was a very impressive game back in the day, Steve Jobs actually used it to show off the 3D gaming performance on the Power Mac G3
Anyone else love the soundtrack in this game? So many good memories.

Alexander Brandon (Unreal, Jazz Jackrabbit 2, etc.) did the soundtrack for this... that's why it's so good!

I remember playing this with very low fps as a child, in a 850 MHz AMD Duron and a 16mb integrated Sis GPU (shared from a 133MHz 64MB DIMM stick). Old times...
This game was enjoyed by an iMac. Even if I play now, this game is the game which can be enjoyed enough.
And ... Killed a ... Bunch of elves. Wtf ...
The music is very similar to Unreal OST!!!

So I was searching for this game for years, I suddenly found it, but I wanna ask something, so in the end of the game, me and my older brother we remember that the game had an ost playing of the band Europe specifically the song (The Final Countdown) as an instrument for the ending ost, but when i looked for this game and saw the ending on KZread, it didn’t have that music! Does anyone remember (The Final Countdown) playing in the end of the game? It’s so strange, could it be a different version or something?

Hi, I installed dark vegeance on my win 10 pc, it works, but it goes at low frames, how can I solve it, can you tell me what settings you used, or if you could make a video where you explain the procedure and settings. Thanks a lot this game is fantastic and I would like to play it again.

Download Dgvoodoo2, Copy the three dll files from MS folder where you have intstalled the game, copy aswell dgVoodooCpl.exe
DgVoodoo and DXwnd do not work. Please explain what you did.
that game looks very.. indoors.. i try and avoid games that dont have an outside at all

Hi good people, i have windows 10 and dont work with dgvoodoo, i need to get a virtual pc with the virtualbox? because i can install the game but show the messagge "not supported win nt". PLEEAAASE i need to come back to my childhood with this game jajaja

If you want a good Third Person Combat System, this game here is not for you. You need *Severance Blade of Darkness - 2001!* Its abandonware today, thx to patent trolls. So feel free to download it without remorse. It works on every Windows OS above XP. Im playing this game since time immemorial. The moment you fully understand the combat system. No modern game will ever satisfy you, with their piss poor modern two button combat made for retards and ultra casuals.

I had such high expectations for this shit back in 1998, but turned out even worse than my worse expectations , utter piece of garbage
