Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory” is a 1971 film directed by Terry Gilliam. It is based on the novel “Charlie and the Great Glass Elevator” , which tells the story of a young boy named Charlie who is sent to the home of Willy Wonka, a mysterious candy maker.
