I think they are both excellent, but I prefer Burgess Meredith over them. To me, he’s the first person I think of when I hear the Penguin’s name.

Robin's performance in Gotham was absolutely flawless! I honestly don't know how you can top that. Danny DeVito obviously wonderful too! Telltale's Penguin was really good as well, if you want to talk games.

If you've seen the final episode of season 5 of "Gotham", Robin Lord Taylor's penguins resembles the usual image.

The 60’s live action Penguin holds a special place in my heart. But Arkham’s, Gotham’s, and Danny Davito’s, are probably my favorites.

No he didnt, it was nothing like the character. Both Robin Lord Taylor and the 1966 penguin were way better than Penguin in Batman Returns. Danny Devito is a good actor too, it's just the way the character was written. I also like Batman and Batman Returns, two of some of my favorite Batman movies, just Penguin that wasnt good. Catwoman was amazing in the film.

@@dakotatrue12 completely agree with you. Tim burtons penguin was maybe a funny character but he wasn't the penguin. The only think that stayed was his umbrellas. He was a perverted, dumb and useless man, which would be ok if his name wasn't penguin. The penguin was always very intelligent , a player but not perverted, and he literally ruled gotham because he couldn't be stopped since he kept the criminals in check. So disappointed in tim burton

Fun fact: The writers for the Adam West TV show loved Burgess Meredith's take on the Penguin so much that they always had a script for him on hand, just in case his schedule opened up.

My stepdad’s fav Penguin is the classic 60’s version. For me, I love ALL the versions of Penguin. Movie versions, show versions, cartoon versions and game versions and of course the comic versions.

I think its hilarious watching these super feared underworld criminals squabbling like kids over shit all the time. It also seems like a reasonable version of a younger penguin imo, but to each there own, i can see how some people might not enjoy that particular character, or at least how its portrayed

In the last episode of Gotham Robin Lord Taylor actually Don's the original 60's penguin getup. Only real noticeable difference is that the hat and overcoat swap colors.

Second, a ship can mean many things, from friendshipping to relationshipping. You're going off the deep end without even knowing which one I may be talking about. Third, there's a lot of gay undertones and overtones between Oswald and Ed throughout the show. Oswald even admits he has feelings for the guy in one episode. I Love the Gotham series Penguin. He is the pinnacle of what I want to become and I Love him so so much

I have to say I love Dana Snyder's evolution on the character. I didn't love it the first few times but he settled into easily one of my favorites.
