As much as I love the beat em up genre I feel that the turtles deserve a proper stealth game to really put the ninja in their ninja turtle name. Maybe something like Arkham or Shadow of Mordor based on the current run of comics

An incredibly popular IP like this needs a proper AAA game. Imagine an action/adventure with a single player story, selecting and leveling up ninja abilities, hiding and attacking from shadows (like Arkham and Spider-Man style), able to switch turtles anytime, character based missions through story, each turtles having different skill sets, team combos when fighting and also 4 player co-op option.

I think the franchise needs a serious reboot. What they have done to TMNT in 2000s is atrocious but not beyond repair.

The Manhattan Project is still my favorite turtles game because it's the longest playtime and has amazing music and gameplay

Yasssss. Hyperstone Heist is the last great TMNT beat em' up (until Shredder's Revenge), but Manhattan Project is the most fun and the one I played endlessly in my youth.

it's kind of like everything we cherish and play when we were kids growing up in the 80's and 90's is all a big slap in the face 😥

After all the updated 3D graphics, game mechanics, and voiceovers of the '00s and '10s, all gamers want is just to replay the old school shit. Looking forward to Shredder's Revenge next week.

I count two missing (Battle Nexus for GBA and TMNT (2007) for PSP/DS ) but all in all an epic trip down memory lane.

tmnt 2003 on ps2 was my favorite

I'm surprised as to how many Gameboy games there were. I would have thought that the bulk of them would be on SNES and Genesis once the '90s hit. Interesting to see all of these titles they released. The one that's closest to my heart is TMNT 2 for NES. I remember playing that for hours with my friend. Game was hard as hell for us though, we didn't get very far, but we had a lot of fun.

I had all of the Graphic Novels and for anyone who has never read them, they’re amazing. Those were the REAL Ninja Turtles. Ultra bad ass🥰

I totally agree, it's one of my favorites so far, it's actually the best imho

when I was a kid I played most the TMNT game. I remember playing TMNT: Tournament Fighter [1993] 3:21, and not being able to find a new TMNT for a while. Because of this video, now I know why I wasn't able to find one. the next game after Tournament Fighter was GBA: TMNT[2003] 3:37, which came out 10 years later.

I feel like we need an open world style game with the gameplay of Mutants in Manhattan or out of the shadows

The bgm of the 2003 game is same as Cowabunga Collection's main menu music. What a coincidence! Shredder's Revenge and Turtles in Time are my favorite TMNT games.

Clearly the Konami / Nintendo 8 and 16bit plus that 2 arcade vers. was the best era, after that the falldown.

You can see the fall from grace. They got so bad over time. After the 2003 series died out the games did too.

You should put TMNT Palooza on this list. Even though it's fan made, it's just as good as any game on this list. In some cases better then some of the games on this list.

Loved the first one...never managed to finish it...the second was way easier. Did many playthroughs...same goes for super mario. First never completed. Second one multiple times

I grew upon the original game, but I had it for computer & loved it. I don't know anything about the Nintendo version.

From 3:36 on, it's just 9 minutes of horse shit games until Shredder's Revenge come in. Sad that it's taken so many years to get a good TMNT game again, but thankful that it inevitably did.

I wish, I could buy Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Out of the shadows from 2013 :( I had it on my laptop but my laptop is been broken so I can't play it anymore and it is no longer in the PlayStation store to buy and to download it :(
