The swamp thing walk-loop of unknown origin may be from one of the last 2 or 3 most recent mortal kombat games, I recall reading in an unofficial fan forum that swamp thing had been proposed as a character in one of them.

I love how the kids in the PSA were in the return of swamp thing

Most people don't. I have friends who liked the new series and comic books. But, I told them about the first two movies, the PSA, the live-action TV show, and the cartoon.

@Kabukichō the series was on USA for 3 seasons in the 1990s.. i disliked the way Swamp Thing looked in the 1st movie but his voice was great.. in the sequel its the opposite.. he looks so much better but talks like a regular man.. and Swamp Thing should ALWAYS have a deep dark voice.. Derek Mears managed to make Swamp Thing sound inhuman.. the new series was fucking great even though of what happened.. i have hopes for 2nd and 3rd season

I burst out laughing when Swamp Thing popped in and said, "Right!" It's such a stark contrast to his somber, much less energetic way of carrying himself in the comics and most other versions.

Literally standing in the middle of the forest and swamp thing just beats them with a bat.

I still like the 1990s show version the most. The 2019 had some good lines and a fitting tone, but Swamp Thing focused more on nature in the 1990s version.

Swamp Thing is first & foremost a horror comic/story, new Swamp Thing is best, as it embraces both aspects of the character. Still, the 90s one look DOPE too

I love how swamp thing was in a PSA about recycling and no littering Also he was a good guy before?wow 0-0 ( I mean, he has to protect nature)

He's nearly always a good guy. He's from some of the darker corners of DC Comics, but he's usually good. You might be confusing him with a more neutral-to-negative Man-Thing from Marvel. They were created nearly at the same time as an odd coincidence and lifted plot points of each other for years.

I love the Mark Hamill swamp thing because he's so polite and cheerful more often than not. That's so rare for ANY comic character. Also, you get to hear Mark Hamill say schmoopy. GOLD!

To be fair, wasn't he a murderous kinda-savior in the early comics? Haven't read the comics yet myself, but I'm about to read Alan Moore's run of Swamp Thing.

"Murderous" is a strong word. He's killed on a select few occasions, but never anyone who was innocent or non-threatening, so it wouldn't quite classify as murder. And he doesn't make a habit of it. There are more moments he's saved lives and gone out of his way to prevent the deaths of others (even enemies) than not.

I liked the part with Mark Hamill.

Some DC designs for popular aren't very good sometimes but this video proves that it is physically impossible to go wrong with swamp thing

Swamp thing was created as a message to save the environment. A PSA back then was no surprise from him. Captain planet included.

God swamp thing has gone through so much shit and yet he has awesome stories to tell. DC Universe needs to save swamp thing show. far better than titans.
