I actually managed to get all 3 birds in sonic dash, now they sit on my 9 year old save that I still access to this day to get more limited characters.

Glad Sonic is getting his redemption this decade. I've seen more good than bad recently, I'm proud.

You didn't mention that choosing Classic or Modern Sonic completely changes the gameplay between 2D side-scrolling and 2D/3D hybrid. For example, that means you can play Green Hill as a modern stage or City Escape as a classic stage. It's wild.

I’ve always assumed Sonic 4 Episode 3 fizzled out as things evolved with SOA, Sega Networks & F2P etc. I guess it’s been long enough that it’s not relevant any more, but I was briefly asked if I would be interested in collaborating with Sega Studios Australia (Who did the Castle of Illusion remake) as a potential dev team to work on the third one. Sadly though, SSA were shut down, and Stealth and I worked on the Sonic 1 & 2 remasters in late 2012-2013. Of course, you never know, Sonic Team could one day decide Ep3 should happen, but Ken pretty much confirms my personal thoughts.

The Mediocre Era of Sonic games after Sonic Generations were the good times and bad times for Sonic games. Hope pt.8 of Sonic the hedgehog talks more about the Post-Modern Sonic Era. Keep up the good work, Flatlife.

@@gamercentral2417 When I mention Sonic Boom games, I meant Sonic Boom: Rise of Lyric, Shattered Crystals, and Fire and Ice.

Fun Fact: in February 21st and March 26th of 2013, the Wii U version of Sonic Lost World got Zelda and Yoshi themed zones as DLC. The Zelda one was titled: The Legend of Zelda Zone, and the Yoshi one was titled: Yoshi’s Island Zone.

here is a fact about the sonic 4 series. sonic 4 episode 3 was actually planned to be made which took place after the events of the 2nd game. however, the game was scrapped due to low ratings of the previous games.

Fun fact: it was originally planned to be 3 Sonic the Hedhehog 4 episodes. It was cancelled because episode 2 wasn't succesful as episode 1.

Thanks for the video! Was waiting for this part to come out. Unpopular fact from me: Despite Sonic Boom: Rise of Lyric being considered one of the worst games in the franchise, it was the game that introduced me to the Sonic franchise. From that point on, I instantly got hooked onto Sonic the Hedgehog. Think that was weird? The Boom designs for the characters look cool. (IMO, VERY UNPOPULAR OPINION)

8:34 this is still a huge problem because few people who played it. Made mods of this on every moddable games. The modder of Friday Night Funkin' made one in that game and most people who made other mods are getting ignored by that and they were pretty upset because most of the good mods of FNF were underrated because of the Sonic.exe mod. 15:56 that gameplay in the background. There were a cancelled Sonic game that planned to used back in the 90's that was called Sonic X-Treme for Sega Saturn. It was cancelled due to Framerate issues, a lot of lack of delays, and 2 developers were having a fatal ill which they ended up leaving the studio. The game was planned to be released before Christmas but then got replaced by Sonic 3D Blast that was in development for the Genesis/MegaDrive that time

TBH, I think sonic lost world and sonic boom rise of lyric are really good games And I'm sure that if it were exclusive to PS4 and XBOX ONE it would have sold better

For Christmas 2010, one my cousins got me Sonic colours DS and I'd completed it by August 2011. Thanks to her, I got interested in Sonic and I wouldn't be here today if it wasn't for her. I also watched the sonic boom series in 2016

If I compared them, it's like looking at a cheap knock-off. Perhaps even the fan game Sonic Runners Reloaded looks better than this. Plus it's not an endless runner anymore. Deadly six is a koopalings but sonic version

Sonic lost world got a bad wrap. The story isn't good but sonic isn't know for its incredible storytelling. The gameplay is what matters and its super fun and engaging. I made sure to download the DLC on my wiiu before the eshop closes and even the dlc is super fun.

Im suprised that sonic forces isnt here. It was widley hated (tho i liked it) so yeah
