Evolution of Mortal Kombat Games / Mortal Kombat Evolution
Mortal Kombat is an American media franchise centered on a series of video games originally developed by Midway Games in 1992. The development of the first game was originally based on an idea that Ed Boon and John Tobias had of making a video game starring Jean-Claude Van Damme, but when that idea fell through, a science fantasy-themed fighting game was created instead. Still, the developers paid homage to him with Johnny Cage (one of the main characters in the many games), a fictional film star whose personal style resembles Van Damme's. The original Mortal Kombat was the first fighting game to introduce a secret fighter, reached if the player fulfilled a set of requirements.

I wish Mortal Kombat was a japanese fighting game & was made by square enix.
I've played at least 1 version of every Mortal Kombat game released to multiple consoles in addition to most of the console exclusive titles. Note: I use the term console for both TV & hand-held devices. I played Mortal Kombat 4 a lot when I was younger, and some of the titles in the list are unknown to me

I remember playing that game too. It's a big franchise and is turning 30 this year. Already feeling old haha
They just revealed Mortal Kombat 1 (12). It’s come so far!!
Hopefully, we will get a Mortal Kombat 12 this year! (According to the rumours)

Mortal Kombat belongs to Warner Bros. Entertainment and Netherrealm Studios (Formerly Midway Games)
I actually started with the 1992 mortal combat and have the game for my snes! Legit such a fun and classic game. The next was mortal kombat vs dc then a random one for the classic Xbox. Awesome video :)
