In Vice City if you put too many vehicles in a garage then the vehicle you put in first disappears

Fun fact: For gta 4, even if it has no garage, when you park a damaged/exploded car it will be restored if you go out of range and go back

In GTA 4 parking spaces, we have to be very careful, because each time the game reupload the previous parked cars, it will put them a little righter than before. And finally, the car will be out of the saving zone and will disappear if you don't repark it.

This is why I prefer to play retro games than modern games, in GTA 4 & GTA 5 they removed the auto-repair because it doesn't make sense, it's not "realistic", but I prefer the more "video game" style of the old features, yeah it's not realistic but it's pretty fun. I remember when I was a kid, entering in my garage really fast because my car engine was starting to burn, I could save the car by magically re-entering the garage. It was actually really nice.

@@K3rhos true. Though there is a mechanic in GTA V that allows players to repair the cars for a fee, they are either too far from wherever I am at the moment or there is a chance that my car won't make it there in time before it wrecks completely

@@shortking_05 yeah, another thing is that when my nodded lowrider was damaged I could simply park it inside the garage. Otherwise I would have to go to the pay'n'spray and it would also change the colour of my ride.

car despawns in other games too, not only gta V, if you try to stuff more cars, it will let the last 2 remain while despawning others (assuming the max limit is 2)

Yes, in old GTAs, I don't recommand to park more cars than the max in garages because the game will erase some previous parked cars, and it can happen in another garage.

No, not in the original trilogy, in 3, VC & SA I remember putting way more vehicles than the limit with the technique, and they never despawned. I used this technique a lot when I was a kid. It's true only for GTA 4 & 5.

@@AngelinaJolie734 Humm... weird, I don't remember that, maybe that's only the case in VC, I don't remember that appening in SA. EDIT: I remember using this technique a lot more in SA, because you could customize cars etc... so it was important to save them, in III & VC there is no real point of saving a lot of cars in your garages, you can simply save some important cars, but after you made the import/export deliveries you got pretty much the equivalent of your house garages but way better (at least in GTA 3), in VC you only have the sunshine autos, it's not really worth it.

but in GTA 3 & vice City they will remain there when I played vice city as a kid I used to store 8 cars and 2 bikes in the downtown apartment garage 😂

The "logic" of self repairing cards in the first 3 GTA's is because those were considered save slots for your cars, because you never owned a car. GTA 5 automatically respawns the cars after they are destroyed because it's character owned cars, so they do not need to save other cars in their garages

well garage is also a save slot in gtav. if you have a vehicle that you do not own, like, stole from an npc, you keep it in garage. and self repairing exists, only if you go far away from the garage and come back or save the game and restart.

Enxgma's attention to detail is better than most gaming studios.

Safehouses don't have garages in GTA IV, but there are accessable garages, for example at Pegorino's mansion in Alderney. Anyway I haven't checked yet what happenes to exploding cars inside.😎

Pegorino's garage doesn't save the vehicles. We can store it temporarily only as far as I remember

I don't know about earlier GTAs but in SA you could put vehicles only available to missions in the garage, die to fail the mission, then go back to the garage and it will be there. Got the APC at the end of the game doing that. Also, this was on the PS2 in case there's any difference between platforms

Yeah me too! I also put an indestructible helicopter (you can get it during the mission 'Misappropriation') inside the hangar at the desert airfield using a tow truck which was really difficult btw.

And let us remember that also the garages in the 3D era allowed you to unlock locked vehicles if you push them there. Oh, there's a special garage in GTA V you didn't mention, the ones you buy. Those have completely different properties than the ones at the safehouses.☝️

3:39 If you leave a damaged/destroyed car inside the garage and leave,when you will come back,the car will be fixed.And you can duplicate cars(works better in Michael's garage). You can duplicate a car just by starting to enter the car and quickly changing character while you are in the garage.

Actually I use different trick to store more vehicles in GTA by stepping out of vehicle and get close to garage and fastly getting inside the vehicle and drive into garage and store it 😂

Breaking the garage's limit would mean it saving more vehicles than the original amount it's supposed to hold not just being able to drive a car that would disappear after it closes. In GTA SA you can actually get 3 vechicles to save in a 2 vehicle garage,and also SA does not have a 2 vechicle only limit as the garage in SF can officially store 4 vehicles and the hangar in LV airstrip can also do 4 or 5 offically

After 6 months of watching this I'm still getting satisfied of the sound and the video

Grove Street is actually the only garage in San Andreas with a limit of 2 vehicles, all the rest max out at 4, even the small ones that could only fit 4 if they are bikes! Though for any garage, there is a hard limit of 4, more then that, and one will despawn as soon as the door closes. Garages also have a tendency to eat cars, so I swap between 2 save files and check all the garages before overwriting the other file.

i once did the "breaking garages' max-capacity" in gta liberty city stories. there was 2 motorcyle and 1 special car that only appairs in one misson, once a time i look, the car was gone, there was only 1 motorcycle... i was saved already
