Fun fact: in GTA V when aiming a gun with no ammo on the store owners head, he will be scared and hand you the money. But if you pull the trigger (remember the weapon has no ammo) the store owner will notice you're not a threat and pull out a gun. It's a quite impressive detail.

In gta 4 you can't rob clothes shops or restaurants but you can rob internet cafes and laundries, you can go to the cash register and press L2 on ps3 and Niko will grab the money by himself resulting in him having one star wanted level

Small correction for test 2 with SA, the cops can enter the store however it specifically has to be a fast food restaurant for them to do it... however they don’t exactly do anything except surrender to you even when they are armed.
