Ganondorf is also a cunning and a strategist. If you seen one of the Dragon Tear memories, he carefully selected his target as he pretends to swear fealty to the Kingdom of Hyrule. Plus, he is the reincarnation of Demise’s hatred since the OG Demon King placed a curse upon the land in Skyward Sword.

Yes. We saw them twice in the distance past, both times as old ladies. Thousands of years later, upon their rebirth, they were young when Ganondorf marched; that would have been cool to see.

@@chadpeterson5698 It would’ve been more impactful to the story by the Gerudo twins teach Ganondorf how to master Gloom (with some Ghibili vibes) since the Sacred Stone of the Zonai served as an amplifier. Additionally, Kotake and Koume overheard Zelda and Sonia’s talk about link as they help plotting an assassination plot to kill the Queen. and a Twinrova boss battle for either the present day or in the distant past.

TOTK Ganondorf really have a very cool samurai design. And his Demon King made more of a baddass. Yet he lacks of be of background of who he is before become king of the Gerudo Tribe. Let alone how learned to mastered Gloom before acquiring the Sacred Stone. Only thing I knew is that the Japanese version (and also in the German Version) Ganondorf tells aber a time in which the World was actually shrouded in darkness until the Zonai came down from the heavens with their sacred light to purified the land of Hyrule from monsters. In his worldview, only Power is focused where the strongest survived, and he seeme to be a Mighty Warrior that finds his pleasure in combat and blood spilling. And since there was no ruler before he was always free to do what he wants, then the furry gods came and ruined everything for him. It would make alot of sense of why he despises Rauru and Sonia’s kingdom. Though it has never been shown in the cutscenes. I wished Zelda series producer Eiji Aonuma and game director Hidemaro Fujibayashi would have established him more in the game’s story.

Ocarina of Time is my first Legend of Zelda Game!

In ALTTP he murders his followers to get the Triforce all to himself, he becomes a Great demon king, transforms into a demon beast and uses a part of his soul to free himself generations later after the seal war but fails to conquer and turn Hyrule into a demon world. In OOT he swears false fealty, brainwashed and enslaved his own people. He greedily and selfishly covets Hyrule's greener lands for himself only. He killed the Deku tree with a curse. He used Link and Zelda to give him access to the Triforce but fails to get his wish due to being imbalanced but he uses the Triforce of power to become a Great demon king, a pure embodiment of darkness and turns the Sacred realm into a demon world and makes Hyrule a world of monsters, he then rules for 7 years while suffering from his bottomless hunger for power as he didn't get his Triforce wish and was left with only a single piece of it making his yearning for the Triforce wish worse and worse. He revived an ancient dragon. When the child he underestimated defeated him he became consumed by rage, hatred, malice and grudge and uses his power to destroy his own castle and transform into a demon beast that reflects his heart/soul. In TWW he is an unreliable hypocrite who is so consumed by his hunger for power that he makes up reasons/excuses for it that aren't really why he did it, his giant ego makes him try to explain to himself how a child is so tough against him. He hates the sea and it's islands for being unfit to conquer, he hates the gods for denying him the world and the Triforce. He shows his selfishness, ego, hunger for power and his inability to let go and move on from the past in his speech about coveting Hyrule's winds and shows no remorse for any of his actions. He is more cautious and removes the Master sword's demon repellent power, he escapes the seal placed upon his demon tribe and his demonic dark magic. When he's denied again he cracks and goes back on his words, intending to drag everyone down with him and get the last laugh, he stops pretending and shows who he really is but fails to get the last laugh and is left sealed and forgotten in a sunken kingdom. King Daphnes calls Ganondorf the emperor of hell. In TP his plans in OOT were foiled before they succeeded and he invaded Hyrule but his arrogance and overconfidence made him blind, delusional and ignorant. This exposed a weak spot that was exploited to end the war and capture him. Unfortunately when the execution was carried out unbeknownst to everyone the Hero of time carrying the Triforce of courage caused the other Triforce pieces to go to the same individuals who carried them in the adult branch after Ganondorf split the Triforce, Ganondorf turned into a Great demon king during his execution as a result of the Triforce of power empowering his demonic dark magic, he killed the Sage of water and forced the other sages to seal him withing the world of shadows. He wandered inside that world for about a century and a half before meeting Zant who hated the Twili's love for the harmony and peacefulness of the world of shadows and their lack of hate, greed, hunger for power and ambition. He gifted Zant his power and Zant turned the inhabitants of the world of shadows into a demonic shadow beasts and turned the world into a demon world of darkness. Ganondorf fed on the hatred of the Twili which nourished his flesh and blood and allowed him to revive in physical form once again. He believed himself to be an unstoppable God and sought to turn the world into a demon world of darkness ruled by the strong with him as the powerful omnipotent ruler. His wound from the failed execution never left him, he was ignorant of it and the Master sword's power to counter his demon magic and that proved to be his undoing. In FSA his people slowly noticed with each passing year that his heart was distorted and wicked, he had a bottomless hunger for power, a love for violence and a hatred for peace as he found it boring and desired the power of destruction, conquest and darkness, he broke his people's laws and went on a selfish journey to obtain great power. He disappeared and was presumed dead but in reality he had entered the pyramid and taken the trident of the king of darkness and used it to become the new king of darkness. With his new power he secretly stole the dark mirror and used it to create monsters, he tricked Link into releasing the devil/demon god Vaati and used Vaati as a distraction. He attacked and imprisoned the knights of Hyrule while in human form and covered parts of Hyrule in darkness. In SS a primordial Demon king explains the nature of Saṃsāra (the cycle of birth, death and rebirth that has been going on since the dawn of time), the state of the demon tribe, the concept of evil will always return as long as light exists no matter how many times the light overcomes it (for where there is light there will also be jealousy and where there is jealousy there is lust/hunger and lust/hunger means negative feelings) and says that he won't be the last demon king, source of monsters and embodiment/manifestation/incarnation of the hatred of Saṃsāra/hatred of the demons/hatred towards the gods and that those who have the Blood of the goddess and the hero's soul are forever bound to face the hatred of the demon tribe, the curse of the demon tribe. In TOTK&BOTW Ganondorf is an evil Ronin Gerudo king who desires for the world to be returned to a time that had stronger spirits as he thinks peace and harmony breeds cowardly weaklings that slack off instead of training. He is delusional as he has latched onto certain concepts and perceptions as reality and absolute truth. He enjoys the thrill of battle, the feeling of his muscles moving and his blood boiling, he enjoys getting into situations that force him to use his full power. He is very passionate about power. He desires a demon world of constant war and battle, he believes in survival of the fittest and might makes right. He wants to be the mightiest being of them all and the ruler over all creation. He is extremely obssessed about his desires, should he be brought down from his pedestal just like in other games his hatred and malice will make it so that he will drag everyone down with him even if takes the most reckless of decisions, he will lie, cheat and steal as long as he can get the last laugh. He sees King Rauru as a weak Zonai and a weak king, he sees himself as a true king. He hates the seals Rauru and Sonia placed upon demons and hates the peaceful era they have created. When he murdered Sonia and stole her secret stone it doubled his essence spiritually and allowed him to manifest his deluded way of thinking, his desires, his obsessesions, his attachements, his feelings as a source of power. He was delighted to see Zelda's sorrow when Sonia died. He attacked his own people and took their settlements. His miasma was powerful enough to severely weaken and seriously harm 7 secret stone bearers combined. His hatred and grudge, his obssessed soul manifested the Calamity Ganons while he was sealed by Rauru, the Calamity Ganons were obssessed with revival, conquest and revenge and one of them destroyed the kingdom of Hyrule and damaged the castle enough to weaken Rauru's seal upon the true body of the demon king. Tens of thousands of years after his imprisonment he returned and broke the demon repellent Master sword. He caused an upheaval and created powerful demons that caused disasters in all of Hyrule's regions. He drained life force from the earth through dark roots in order to revive and restore his flesh and blood. He created phantoms of himself that took on a guise in the form of Hyrule's princess to deceive Hyrule and allow his demonic servants to spread chaos and darkness.

I never knew Cadence of Hyrule had Ganondorf as an NPC, facing away from the screen and not mentioning his name at all...

Ganondorf is an unlockable character in the stage called Final Destination like Mewtwo in Super Smash Bros Melee (2001).

It is nice to have the Smash Bros. and remakes as well as the full length version, but the sound is lower and slower than usual in some areas.

Wind Waker battle still devastates me… I think it’s the juxtaposition of the children and weight of the situation. And sword through head.

Ganondorf is my favorite villain of all time, and he hasn’t been surpassed by anyone yet.

The first backstory for the demon beast was in ALTTP. When he was originally a human thief leader, he accidentally found an entrance to the Sacred realm and went in there with his followers, the Sacred realm reflected their greed and evil and started to change their teeth and eyes, Ganondorf then murdered all of his followers so he could have the Triforce all to himself and he turned himself into a Great demon king but he was unable to figure out how to leave the Sacred realm and failed to leave during the seal war and the events of ALTTP when he used a part of himself(Agahnim) to break the seal of the seven sages that was placed on the Sacred realm at the end of the seal war. ALTTP explains that Ganon is Ganondorf's nickname and that the demon beast form is a reflection of his character and ego just like Link’s bunny form is a reflection of the hero's pure heart.
