the un-logical thing about that power up is that mario is not immune to fire lol

So much retconning but not keeping. - Mario 3: Fire Flower makes you orange instead of white - Mario World: Fire Flower looks like an orange flower with closed eyes - Mario land 2: Gives you a feather on top of your head

Nice transition, him piping into another game. XD Funny, the transformation actually looked better in the oldest games, where he'd go through a bunch of colors instead of just flashing between fire and non-fire. Though, Super Mario 3D Land has the rate of flashing change so that by the end of the transformation he's spending more frames as Fire Mario.
