Maguire - Powerfully moving each time, character driven, ages extremely well, OG legendary. Garfield - Stylistic, visually striking, best looking overall, sound design is not wasted for one second 🔥 Miles - Inventive, the music is amazing, gives new meaning to the final swing, triumphant, leaves space for more. Holland - Realistically driven and fun, somehow has more youth but shows growth in the character, unique take on the final swing, leaves space for more development.

It's amazing to think The Final swing originated from Tobey's iteration of Spider-Man. Sam Raimi created something special for all iterations of Spider-Man. The Final Swing is something to cherish. Thank You, Sam Raimi.

-Tobey's swing seems so powerful and fluid. Like he's boundless and he makes it look effortless. -Andrew's swing as thrill and is fast paced, and he shows his power to through the sheer velocity he's ripping through the air -Tom's swing is unique in the fact that although he's not as proficient as his two predecessors he has the potential to be just as good if not better(and Tobey is my favorite it hurts to say Tom can and most likely will surpass, but he's Spidy so I'll love it)

TASM swinging is the best. The music, The acrobatics, The cinematography, the camera work. Everything about it is beautiful.

Tobey’s swings are more nostalgic, but unrealistic because of how smooth they look. Andrew’s are my favorite, because they are creative/parkourish and resemble a spiders, plus the physics are more realistic.

It is only because by the time Amazing Spiderman came there were many new / modern technologies to film these types of unreal performance. In 2002 there were no such good techniques to film this scene, and they still managed to do such a great job. If Tobey's spider man was made in 2010s there would probably have been much better physics and much more realistic

Tbh all three of them are equally amaizing but at first ppl hated Andrew's bc his character introduced the handmade webshooter concept and ppl was used to Tobey that they gave a mild critics to it. I personally love TASM 2 bc the ending is just beautifully sad and it shows more of the reality and sacrifices he need to make as a friendly neighborhood spiderman. But overall it's a really hyped movie, I think having all three actors in one single movie.. This would definitely be a blast.

Nothing will ever beat the original Spider-Man webswing ending. EVERY SINGLE motion had conviction behind it, and I’ve never seen a web swing scene compare to it since, even in the 2 raimi sequels. Just perfection.

i agree. Tobey's webswinging is like Sam Raimi's Filmaking : controled and powerfull. Each picture of this final swing has a meaning and so an emotionnal impact. TASM has some interesting ideas but for me the filmaking is imperfect and it ruins the choregraphy. Sometimes I just have the feeling that the movie is screaming "I want to be cool" and just throw some acrobatic sequence without a real cohesion or direction. It's hard to follow and understand the purpose.

Probably because the movie had a more serious vibe into the story, add epic music on top of that and boom. To me the writers wanted the 1st spiderman go have a epic and heroic tone into the story and the excuted it perfectly.

The webswinging scene that hits me hardest is Tobey’s first, when he’s chasing Uncle Ben’s shooter. It’s raw and angry. He’s enraged and just wants to get from Point A to Point B to catch the guy, so he invents webswinging out of sheer determination. I love that. Raimi filmed and edited it with such clarity that we can watch the evolution. It’s chaotic. I get such a charge when he runs down the alley with that fierce look on his face.

Toby's first movie swing in the sunset after that last dialog and the orchestra it’s pure art and magic. Perfection!

The score for the raimi trilogy is also just another huge factor for what makes them so good. Can evoke so many different emotions listening to it

The way tobey moved just looks flawless and powerful

All of these webslinging scenes are great in their own way. All of them have something that the others don’t. (Also for the normies still arguing about which Peter Parker is the best, all of them nail some trait and/or characteristic from the comic book Spider-Man that the others don’t. Tobey nails the awkward teen maturing into a responsible adult, Andrew nails the edgy teen becoming into what a super hero should be and Tom nails,again, the awkward teen while also being a genius with high intellect, designing his suits, suit powers and gadgets. And yes all are comic book accurate, fight me)

FFH Final swing is Amazing, maybe the suit isn't as "realistic" as Andrew's but it does feel grounded. That was my main concern with the swing of Raimi's movies.

Andrew's swinging and agility is off the charts. Also his version was easily the smartest variation of the 3

Because you had an incredible director who absolutely love the character this movie was why spider-man was my favorite hero and why I wanted to grow up and be my own spider-man and one day either play spider-man or direct a spider-man movie because I've seen them all to know what works and what doesn't work for a spider-man movie.

Imo Andrew's the perfect fit for the spiderman that I would imagine in a big screen, the style, the quips in the movies and the silhouette is just perfect. I know and understand some of yall hate it but I think TASM is my personal favourite, so much potential. Love the suit as well, unique as hell.

Literally everything. It helps that he's perhaps the best actor of the three...he totally disappears into the character. Tom Holland never stops being Tom Holland in my eyes. And he's the only one who attempted a New York accent. I could go on and on.

@@thomasguerrero4387 Because Raimi's Spider-man movies are the only ones worth our time. With Into the Spider-verse, very good movie too. Sam Raimi's and Tobey's take on Peter and Spider-man was great, great dialogues, plot, action and swinging (the swinging is still the best 20 years later...). Andrew Garfield had a lot of potential just like Tom Holland but the movies they are in, are poorly written and directed, especially the Disney ones. Tobey is the only Spider-man people will remember.

Ngl the TASM series had the best live action swinging imo. Tobey’s was nostalgic. Tom’s swinging has more of a modern feel than the other swinging. I can’t really explain how I feel about Miles’s swinging since it gives off a little bit of Tom’s modern vibe and makes it feel different from the rest of the Spideys’ swinging.

No way home final swing is increíble a clasic suit masterpiece

I shudder to see spiderman of 2002-2004-2007 To fly around the buildings is an incredible thing because they gave me emotions never felt before, and every time it is the day that the films are released I watch them.

I think this needs the TASM 2 Swing Opening sequence by far the best

I think the theme music for sam raimi's spiderman makes it feel so heroic. The orcestra that did the spiderman raimi theme did en exellent job. It truly does sound like a theme for a hero with great power that protects new york.

@@dean3134 it is majestic because spiderman's will is awesome. Imagine being a nerdy innocent kid that is into comic books suddenly got powers. The majestic thing about it is. How can someome so innocent, young and shy have such a big caring heart to save people everyday. Despite it ruining his ife he does it for the betterment of everyone else because he feels like its his duty to uncle ben. When that theme plays peter digs deep into himself to be the strong spiderman the city needs him to be and keep his oath to uncle ben. And a young kid with all that responsibility, all of the trama of loved ones dying, he still decides to be a hero. And if that isnt beautiful and majestic i dont know what is. Raimis spiderman has a take on all the emotional heart felt things of spidermans life, making it more real rather than it just being some comedy that cant be taken Seriously.

The swings on Toby Maguire and the theme is too awesome! It's Iconic! It's unbelievable, it breaks my inner childhood out! Nostalgia!

My two favorites ending swings: Tobey scene1: iconic, nostalgic, and the music adds to that majestic swing. Tom Holland: I love that it's during pure daylight, fun, and MJ's reaction is great. Best swing scene in general to date: Andrew's opening swing in amazing spider man 2

TASM 2 was the first time I walked out of a Spidey movie and felt like they actually got the swinging right. One of the best sequences other than that is when he's chasing Electro. It's the small things, like occasionally having to climb up the web while swinging or the micro adjustments he made to maintain his flow in the opening swinging scene, the choreography actively including parkour maneuvers and techniques, it all gave it the most fluidity and flair of any of them imo. It's certainly the closest to how he swings in the last game they did, Tom's feels more like Miles mixed with Ultimate Spidey, and I wonder if that's because all 3 are relatively inexperienced

Tobey- beautiful, graceful, along with his woohoos and grunts made his swings iconic Andrew- incredibly athletic, moves just like a spider (my fav part about his Spidey), amazing web shooter sounds Tom- fun, "messy" (ehh he's a kid and still learning so I won't hold that against him lol), cool technology

I feel like people should stop liking and disliking Spider-Man actors cuz no matter what they’re all Spider-Man in their own way

Although tobey's swings are legendary for their ending, I still prefer Andrew, as his swings are fresher and more real.

The Amazing Spider-Man has a darker Spider-Man but the swings and effects fit in and are freaking awesome

@@joshofthesouth it always had stick with me, the sensation of the final swing. When I thought how would it feel be spider-man this is the best image I could think about

I personally like Sam Raimi's Spider-Man swinging do to the fact in most parts they literally had a camera attached to a line down an entire street in NYC. Plus the movie was released right after 911 and we all needed a pick me up after what happened. I remember being a kid and the entire theater stood up and screamed during the final shot.

Actually, it was only in SM2 that a real camera was sometimes used. They made some calibrations, used that footage to prepare the coordinates and they put the Spidey model on top of the recorded footage

The way the swinging is done in Raimi films are the best because the camera moves along with Tobey for the most part and you get a sense of the speed and that you are actually swinging with him. The other films is more the camera is still and watching him go past or even if it is following, it is a steady camera moving in one direction so you still feel like an observer rather than beside him

Toby's swing is great. I love it. So is Andrew's. Though I love Miles' the best. Tom's also doesn't get enough love. Tom's version of Spiderman really is just your friendly neighborhood spiderman. And even though he ends up fighting bigger foes like the others eventually did, I think that his swing shows his youth It's unique and simple. I wish we had more swings from him tbh. Since that was just him picking up MJ for a date. It's the equivalent of comparing a jogger to a parkour master. I really do hope we get to see more stylish swinging from him, so we can see what he can really do.

TASM definitely had the best web swinging ngl does were my favorite i love how the camera followed toby and andrew and its sad that the others didn't have that but there were still good in the swinging

Facts

In terms of the swing itself, I love Andrew Garfield's more as it feels the most unique. In terms of camera work, I love Tom Holland's more as we get multiple perspectives, such as first person view, from inside a building, close-ups, etc. In terms of memorable, I'd go with Tobey Maguire mostly for the sake of nostalgia. Can't get nostalgic it's not that memorable. And finally, in terms of best end scene, I think that goes to Into the Spiderverse. It doesn't do much in terms of swinging sadly, but it makes up for it as a nice tie up for the first movie along with the promise of a second, which we're getting

I always felt like they got the web swinging style perfect in The Amazing Spider-Man. Very believable AND stylish. I think the music is right up there with Spider-Man (2002), which arguably has the best score to go along with it.

The cinematography on TASM is just amazing, the tone of colour, sound effect, and the soundtrack idk why but i feel TASM soundtrack is the best, it Will leave satisfaction after finish the movies But i agree that TASM 2 still the worst Spiderman movie

I simply love Garfield's swing, he feels like a spider, at the end when he shoots the web his body recoils just like when a spider jumps, just as agile, as light, as powerful.

All of them have their own Uniqueness. Tobey's Spiderman always did the Classic Long Distance Web swinging with Iconic Poses. He hardly ever web-zipped, wall ran, and didn't change his trajectory that often. Also, I feel like his Final Swings really captured the vastness of the city quite well. He's often seen Swinging diagonally. Either towards the frame, or away from it. Whenever he does tho, he always swings across the majority of the frame. Like when he swings in to Capture the Kid from the falling debris, to swinging away with MJ, and then you can see him swinging across and towards the frame from far away onto the roof of the Building garden place to drop MJ off. Same goes for his final swings too. Sam Raimi also incorporated sort of Panning shots, where the camera is following or ahead of Him, but then slows/stops, and stops to let Spidey swing/thwip across the frame, and then follow from his back. I also like how the camera swoops down literally between cars while following him. Idk, it just gives off a nice sense of depth. I also really like the forever Golden Hour orangish hue, and softer sunlight that's present. Andrew's Spidey is more Parkour esque. He doesn't do too many Long sweeping swings like Tobey. Instead, he uses the most out of the Environment, and often has a tendency to hop and zip toward and over rooftops to rooftops.I really liked the Slingshot thing he does between the crane. Also not to mention, the slow motion that happens at times during his swings where he strikes a pose. His movement really captured the details of NYC. Narrow alleys, fire escapes etc. He tends to thrip and use his webbing a lot more generously, unlike Tobey (maybe cause Organic webbing and he's trying to save them?). I like how contrasty his lighting is. The night light looks great, and he almost always swings during Mid-day, with Blue Sky and bright sunlight. Tom's spider really is like mix of both with a unique flair. I just feel like the choice of composition that John Watt's goes for makes it a bit underwhelming. He has a strong tendency of Wall running. He also glides a lot, which is nice. I just feel like it's not as weighty as Tobey or even Andrew. Kinda feels Airy, like trying to throw an air balloon far away sort of a thing. I feel like the camera doesn't stay near him long enough before cutting away, unless it's a dive. So the immersion is a bit broken.
