I agree, I love the Bane character of The Dark Knight Rises but I just wish that he had more Bane elements. Even Bane in the comics became a successor to Ra’s Al Ghul, I might be wrong

@@aquarius4884 He outmaneuvered Batman in Knightfall. He's the 2nd notable person to know Batman is Bruce Wayne. He also was able to beat Ra's al Ghul in chess despite never playing; even Ra's said he had the finest mind he's ever seen and Bane was able to deceive Ra's and Talia to the point that even Ra's wanted him as his heir. He was the strategist for the Secret Six. And in Batman Rebirth, it's shown that Bane is really diabolical when it comes to psychological warfare and manipulation. He is shown to have a photographic memory, able to speak up to 14 languages, classically educated and erudite, is a brilliant strategist, learned how to fight and created his own styles, created his own workout routine that maximized his physique, etc.

Never understood why in some of the cartoons, Bane isn’t as smart as he is suppose to be. He’s suppose to be one of the most intelligent people Batman has ever faced.

@@ComicBookGuy420 - In the current "Batman: Rebirth" run, Bane indeed started his first storyline by capturing the Psycho-Pirate, so he can "hypnotize" (it's more complicated, but in short) Bane out of his Venom addiction. But when Batman attacks his forteress in "I am Suicide" to take the Psycho-Pirate back for himself (long story), Bane reverts back to Venom in "City of Bane", and hasn't stopped using it since that time IIRC In his final fight against Batman, Bruce even has to trick him into not using Venom so he would have a shot at taking him out. Did something happen since?

I will never forgive Warner Bros for allowing Bane's first theatrical appearance in Batman and Robin to be nothing more than a bruting henchmen.

Bane in Arkham Origins was amazing simply the best interpretation of the character along with Hardy's.

In the comics the original venom formula ate away at his brain and continuously made him less intelligent over time like how many real world drugs act. It was only later that he got his hands on an improved version that gave him his mind back

Wow, Danny Trejo should really voice Bane again. His voice suits the character perfectly, in my opinion. Cold, cunning, manipulative, etc. And say what you will about Bane from the Gotham series, but for me, he was just as intimidating as Tom Hardy's Bane.

Not one of my favourite Batman villains, but he's always been a good one when he's on screen. And he had a damn good intro, build-up, boss and finale in Arkham Origins.

1990s Bane: “ROID RAGE TO THE MAAAAAAAX.” 2000s Bane: “I’m am the edgiest Hulk” 2010s Bane: “Venom is a Crutch, one I no longer need. But it’s still good to have it just in case.”

He was a neat bane. I would say the comics were the best and most original interpretation of bane. Though I like how for once, a movie actually shows bane for not just his strength, but his intellect.

The ironic thing is bane means "brain" in Turkish and they usually show bane as the "strong dumb guy" in the cartoons but in reality he is one of the people who can compete with batman in intelligence...

Bane uses a mechanical tube system to feed the Venom drug into his system. Using an apparatus on his wrist, he can injects Venom into the base of his skull with the press of a button.

Honestly, just know Danny Trejo voiced him once, I want to see him in a live-action version. He could be perfect. Wouldn't even need the venom, he's Danny Trejo! 13:19 This was actually a good Bane, full of strength, yet also of great intelligence. This is just a bad scene as it doesn't show that.

I remember finding out that my favourite Batman villain(at the time) was going to be in Batman & Robin, and being so excited. Considering that Bane was intelligent enough to beat the Batman in the comics, I was really disappointed.

@@KenMasters. - Yeah, people often remember how fans though Heath Ledger was a bad choice for the Joker, but there was also a LOT of criticism over Tom Hardy (a nobody at the time, and not enough of a big guy to impress your basic nerd) playing him. Most people were not impressed by the first pictures. Even after the film came out, and he became a fan favorite, a big chunk of the fanbase just never warmed up to him. Funny how his version still stuck, he is still very popular nowadays. His voice in particular was very memeable.

Gotham’s bane is such a great and different take on bane. He’s a soldier and army commander and I really like that. Say what you want about his outfit I think it looks sick

@@Georgeishere-me4sc fox were given the rights to use bane for gotham. They weren’t allowed to use batman, joker, Harley, and other characters what already had live action portrayals at the time

I gotta say I respect The Batman's version of Bane based on the simplified design. Would love to see the idea given a more realistic redesign.

Among animation I have always liked the Young Justice Bane the most, because it was the only show that fully embraced the intellect of Bane

Young justice did so much justice (no pun intended) to so many DC characters. Bane's heritage, intellect, and non venom strength are all present, and I loved it.

The Bane in Gotham just is like “Hello, Bruce. I want to play a game.”

Bane has never truly been done justice. When done correctly, Bane is arguably Batman’s most formidable foe. A truly well done Bane is just as smart as Batman, and is physically superior to him. With every other Batman villain, Batman is either smarter or physically superior. Villains like Joker, Penguin, The Riddler, Scarecrow, and Two Face all use their intellect to cause problems for Batman, but Batman is highly superior to them when it comes to physical prowess. Then there’s Clayface, Killer Croc, and Manbat who may be physically stronger than Batman, but Batman is much smarter. Bane is the only one who can both outsmart Batman and beat him in a fist fight. The dark Knight rises is the closest we’ve seen to a truly well done Bane, but Tom Hardy just did not have the physical stature to completely fit the intimidation factor of Bane.
