You forgot that bayek can assassinate enemy's through thin fences and thatch ceilings

Alexios makes sure that his target's death is as painful as possible 😅

Nothing is more satisfying to watch than Arno Hidden Blading guards non stop

This video was amazing! You just forgot that during Combat, if Altaïr switches from sword or knife to hidden blade after the enemy's attack was counteracted or they were thrown to the ground, he can use the hidden blade to eliminate the opponent stabbing them on their neck or their stomach.

The animations in AC Unity are so cool

AC Odyssey does have Hidding Spot Assassination. When the enemies are near the bush with you in it just press Assassination and the Protag will throw them in the bush and assassinate them. When the enemies are in the bush the Protag has 2 Assassination animations that hide the bodies in the bush. Unity and Odyssey have great assassination animations out of all of them. However I like Odyssey more cuz shoving a whole spear into someone head is so badass and brutal. Meanwhile Arno shows so much creativity with just one H.B, he definitely puts Bayek, Ava and Eivor techniques to shame.

Even starting in AC1 there’s another animation when you’re motionless, but hold down the trigger for high profile. Hoping it’s later on in the vid but it’s a shame that was always my favorite

adding onto that, if you’re sprinting towards a target and assassinate them right before you run into them you get a unique animation, there’s ofc one for when you’re behind or in front of them.

I always use the high profile assassinations when I try to pick fights with guards. The animation looks cool! 😎

Actually, something that Rogue brought to the table was that when a hunter assassin goes to kill you with a hidden blade, shay grabs their wrist and plunges their own blade into the attackers neck😊

You forgot the high profile haystack, well, ledge, roof garden, bush, tent and hiding door assassination. If you're in one of these positions and you hold down the high profile button, your target doesn't have to come as close to you as they normally would for the assassination prompt to show up, press this and your assassin will leap out or climb up and leap to your target performing a high profile assassination. This works for as far as I can remember for 2 all the way through to Rogue. Doesn't work for crowdblending, benches or stalking zones. This also works with Arno when around corners (of wich the animation will allow you to smoothly transition into running after the kill if you remain in high profile) or behind cover. Doesn't apply to Syndicate since it doesn't have a hardcover system. Surprises me how many people don't know this stuff

But the beauty of assassinations started with Connor kenway in ac3, which is crazy with the pivot blade

you can also do a high-profile assassination by standing still and being close to the enemy and holding the run button while you press the assassinate button

It's minor but seems many people forget. AC Syndicate has animation when using the hidden blade while crouching. I hate it when playing Unity that Arno stand up everytime I assassinate someone.

Honestly for me none of them would be like AC3 that is just so epical. I am impressed by how detailed anf prfect your video was. Keep up the great work.

One of my favorite ones in AC Valhalla was the Feign Death ability. Basically you would trick enemies by "playing dead". Then you'd pop up and assassinate the enemy. It was used for when in open combat or botched assassination attempts and trying to reset into stealth again.

Unity has the best assassinations hands down

There are some missing H.B assassination tech: 1. ACIII: cover assassination from farming tool rack, assassinate horse rider from back of horse/ground 2. AC3, AC4, ACRogue: high profile bench takedown 3. ACsyndicate: assassinate kidnapped target then carry 4. ACrevelations: knockout enemy counter using hookblade

You actually can do a simplified version of the ledge assassination! Altair will jump up from the ledge and assassinate the selected target, instead of pulling them down like later games.

Cool video (11:24 is VERY cool), but incomplete. You forgot the high profile assassinations. Not the running assassinations, but the ones where you hold the high profile button while standing next to the enemy. They look very cool, from the front and from the back

You can also use some assassination methods in AC1: 1) running with just M2 and press the kill button before you bump into target, it's a little bit tricky,but it's so satisfying to watch. 2) You can do another variation of High Profile kill, you need:Stand clise to a target, hold HP button and press M1. 3) After Altaïr lands of something, you can kill a target, you need to land on something, lock on and press M1. Ac2:You can do HP assassinations in every hiding spot,just hold the HP button and prss M1.Method 2 from first game also usable. AC3:You can assassinate from hiding spot where two people standing next to wall, and also when you're blending as a citizen by tastinf smh. Unity:Can also do HP assassination from hiding place, from cover your able to do it too

about the assassin's creed revelations.when hanging from a ledge,ezio use hookblade to pull down the target from the building.

But the nostalgia of old hidden blade is gone in Odyssey and Valhalla.

Always love the Assassinimation from Unity, so unique!

If you press R2 or whatever system your playing on, you can perform a high profile cover assassination

You just forgot that in 1 and 2 you can hold the run button (right click on PC) and assassinate with a special animation it works from front and behind of the enemy Forgot to add that you should stay still and not walk

Assassin's Creed Unity has gained a lot of improvement since 2014's gameplay. Gotta say it's worth to grab it now. And 13:18 is the newest ragdoll assassination feature.

Its cool how the games are all similar until a certain point. Like how assassins creed 1, 2, brotherhood, and revelations all have the same/similar mechanics and assassinations. Then came the new era, assassins creed 3, black flag, and rogue. Then they had the newer graphics and smoother animations with Assassins creed unity and syndicate. And finally the latest ones, rpg type games. Origins, odyssey, and valhalla. I'm assuming mirage is another one of those games where they try something different.

Odyssey was really cool because of the variety and options with the stealth. But Unity has essence and is the best by far

Eivor can do horseback assassinations, there is even a trophy for it

In my opinion AC 3 brought the best combat system in the franchise but unity is totally underrated the stealth mechanics and the parkour system 🔥

man, only downside of ac odyssey's assassinations was the fact that you couldnt perform a double takedown like connor, edward, arno and shay. Otherwise it would have possibly been the best in terms of assassinations (also, i like ac valhalla but is bro wearing them razer boots 💀)

In AC Black Flag those were not corn fields buy sugar cane

Eivor can assassinate people from his horse. I even got an achievement when I did it the first time.

You forgot to add that in assassin's Creed 3 to rogue, there are high profile versions of some assassinations: High profile ledge assassination: climb the ledge and rush to the enemy instead of pulling them down High profile hiding spot assassination: leave your bench / cover / jump from your haystack and run to the enemy for assassination Pivot blade assassination: high profile standing assassination from Connor where he uses pivot blade and stabs the opponent in the neck Also there were rope swing assassinations from your ship (not in ac3) And Shay's high profile standing animation changes from that of the assassin's to that of haytham's (stabs the enemy 20 times) Kassandra is the canonical protagonist of odyssey And you didn't mention critical assassinations

Oddysey and unity for me, depending for Assassination, in unity is very simple and quickly than oddysey, but in oddysey i like kassandra/alexios shows no mercy and brutal Assassination, and many variety/option

I'd normally appreciate that Syndicate kept the assassination animations from Unity, but they look so jarring when paired with how slapstick the game's combat looks. Unity's animations felt like there was more weight to them, and overall more realistic.

For oddysey, what about the critical assasination?

I think you missed the "ledge assassination without leg support" from Revelations. Couldn't do that in AC2 or Brotherhood.

Ya know, it’s not the graphics, or the mechanics that make me hate the newer ones, it’s just like they keep putting less in to their games, we’ve known for years one of their biggest issues was a yearly release and the one time they didn’t (origins) it came out great, not a huge fan of rpg, but the story, graphics, and most details I appreciated, they push these games so fast they don’t have time to look at it and fine tune it anymore. I wish they’d just sit down, not release anything for 3 or 4 years, then release something amazing. I can’t call the new one horrible, but I definitely regret spending $40 on it for a small as it was; I feel like this is their COD if they release something with the abstergo symbol, AC symbol, or just the name, they know people will buy the hell out of it. My issue is they’ve become money hungry to the point I don’t see where they care about the players. Notjing has really been graphically as good as Unity, and to me the peak was AC3 or AC4
