though I'm a huge BMW fan this new 7 series doesn't take mty breath away. The rear end looks like a skoda superb!!!

I love the 'generation blend' at the beginning.

This is the best car in the world in this moment.

Wahnsinn! Der neue 7er ist DAS Hightech Wunder seiner Klasse. Echt geil was Bmw da gemacht hat. Cool war auch der vergleich zu den anderen 7er Modellen die immernoch sehr schön sind!

Really nice video. At first I was underwhelmed by photos of the new 7-Series, but the design is very clean and not over the top gaudy like the new S-Class. S-Class interior was designed by Liberace. The 7's interior won't look dated 10 years from now.

They need to do a Cabrio version of this

I jumped into an S500 AMG 2015 this week - and i telly you what, the new 7 series 100% looks better fro the outside and in.

it looks so classy and expensive.

To stand out from the crowd. Make it less like a 3/5 series. Does the JAG.. XF look like the XJ? NO, IT DOES NOT. For that kind of money you want a stand alone car. Great Video by Autogefunl.

fonfobells Only time will tell. Here in Dallas (Texas), BMW rules the luxury car market. Dealers will have no problem selling cars on their lot.

How do these two cars compare for fuel consumption? I'm guessing the BMW is better (I heard it's not bad on the BMW but quite low on the Merc). Struggling for things to like with this compared with the S-class. I like that it has a touch screen. Design wise the S-series interior and exterior, from every angle, is much cleaner. Significantly cleaner. BMW need to step up their game here.

Top von außen, auch wenn der Unterschied zum alten gering ist. Aber die Technik innen wirkt im Vergleich zur S-Klasse mit deren digitaler Instrumentenanzeige die nahtlos in den Bordcomputer übergeht um eine Generation hinten.

der erste siebener ist ein echt schönes auto gewesen :D

Faut reconnaître qu'il s'agit là d'un très joli écrin,toutefois la classe s a plus d'allure.

4th - 5th generation was the biggest jump, massive - boring samey box becomes all fine sexy curves and form.

Nineq 96 it is said that new s-class has elecronic realiability issues. Dont know if thats true though. I did drive the s-class but not the new 7-series, so i ll tell you later :)

Nineq 96 From an exterior styling standpoint I prefer the BMW myself. If I am speaking in terms of interior styling it is S class all day long

Ja, dennoch möchte ich Besitzer des neuen 7er werde. Das einzigste was mich daran hindert ist das Geld. Warum kann ich nicht einfach bei einem Waldspaziergang eine Truhe voll Gold entdecken ;)

its a nice car..but not a wow factor. like when the new Sclass came out. now that was def a wow factor. but this is more like meh. esp the interior. this new bmw is more like a business interior. i like the s class interior tho

lexusfan100 I do like how the screen has touch features. I dislike the S-Class because it has too many settings that can only be accessed by the dial. Actually, I dislike that amongst all the luxury brands (Audi, BMW, Lexus, Mercedes) have gone overboard with so many options. We're just now seeing the 7-Series, but have you checked reliability ratings for the S-Series? They're horrible. All electrical, with 90% related to the navigation/speedometer screens. Not sure if it has to do with the screens or an issue with the on-board computer system. Screen goes blank randomly, sometimes coming back after restarting the car and sometimes not. And with only a few button controls, you are locked out of the radio, seat control, some climate features, etc...if you lose the speedometer screen, you're toast.
