If a fish fossil has been preserved so that one can still observe its skeleton & scales are fully intact.......this means the sediment layer it is preserved in had to cover the fish almost instantly. If the sediment layer formed from water/wind erosion over large periods of time, the dead fish would have been eaten by other creatures or at least decomposed and the fish wpuld be unrecognizable.

Speciation by variation caused by mutations . natural selection . genetic studies about older evidence such as fossils with DNA sequencing are hard proofs of evolution . I agree fossil record alone carbon dating alone is not sufficient and accurate enough there is so much to evolution than few videos that unfortunately don't explain it well to understand evolution understanding other sciences is needed geology archeology chemistry astronomy physics if evolution is scientific it cannot contradict other sciences and basic biology should explain best all biological sciences . it does organisms evolve acquire new traits by adaptive mutations over time It is hard to believe micro organisms could evolve into humans over billions of years we are made of cells and an ecosystem for micro organisms we are biological machines life needs this why did micro organisms evolve into more complex life forms ? A more sustainable biological ecosystems parasites need hosts to reproduce and fuction the same way humans need machines technology to fuction our society is our host that we made

The Galapagos Cormorant can no longer fly, therefore its wings are vestigial. Research the evolution of dolphins/whales from land mammals and you'll immediately see the gradual and ancestral change in forms over geologic time. What Is The Best Way To Live Your Life? Imagine how people were 5,000 years ago without God’s True Book. How would they have known how they were supposed to live? How would they have known how they were supposed to be in order to please their Creator? So God gave the law of Moses back then. This law was for the people to know how to be. They saw what God expected out of them. God had high expectations from the Israelites. Why shouldn't He? Should He drop His expectations for love and grace? If He drops His expectations to accommodate what man wants, then He compromised His perfection for man’s imperfection. Does a Perfect God compromise His perfection? So God has expectations once He tells His creation how He wants things. His love and grace gives His creation time to change. He is willing to help them change if they ask Him. Then His creation, while repenting or changing to do His will, see His Beauty. This is a relationship formed now with the Creator. If He is the Most Beautiful Being, which He is, how can His creation not want to obey Him? How can His creation not want to please Him? The reason why is because of foolishness. Man loves his own foolishness rather than God’s wisdom, Jn 3:19. Man loves his sin. If anyone loves himself, he will stay in sin. So man who stays in sin rejects his perfect Creator or Father, and exchanges it for his own foolishness. So now fast forward to today where we have God’s True Book. We officially know what God wants. God gave His creation a big help, the Word, to show us how He wants us to live. If we follow His perfect teachings, we all live with perfect peace, love, joy and unity. This is His perfect design for His children's lives. When we go against His perfect design for what we want, sin, we throw away that perfect plan. We throw away that perfect peace, love, joy and unity. Giving up these things is foolish. So sinning against God proves to be the worst plan for us! God wanted to help mankind. God wanted to save man from his foolishness. He wanted to help us the best way possible because He is Good. The best and only way to do it, as God saw fit, was to give mankind His Son. Why? The Son is the Word, Jn 1:1. The Word always obeys the Father's will. The Father's will is spoken through His Word. The Word proceeds forth from the Father's will and mind. So the Word that God speaks is the pure sequel to what was inside the Father's mind and heart. Jesus is that perfection manifest. He is the physical embodiment of God's will and thought. God's will and thought is expressed through His Word. Jesus, the human part, is the perfect, physical expression of God. Jesus, the human part that walked this earth, came to teach us the perfect will of God. How? He did this by example. This is why Jesus walked this earth perfectly without sinning. So Jesus taught us perfectly. He even was willing to die not only death, but the death He did not deserve since He never sinned against God the Father. He chose to give His life. That's why Jesus says no man forces Him to lay down His life, He chose to lay it down, Jn 10:18. God wanted to save mankind. Jesus wants what the Father wants. The Word always obeys the will. He shed even His perfect, pure blood for us. His blood is the fulfillment of perfect obedience to the Father. Why? Because the Son asked 3 times in the Garden, "Take my cup not by my will but by yours." The Father said the Son still had to shed His blood on the cross. The Son obeyed the Father's will over His own. So the blood was shed for that purpose. Nobody else had that kind of blood. Nobody else pleased the Father perfectly like the Son. So now instead of the law of Moses showing us the way to live rightly in God's eyes, we have the Son. This is the New Covenant. In Jesus and His blood, we now obey Him instead of the Mosaic law as part of this new agreement between man and God. So as man wants to live rightly to please His Creator, man now must turn to the Word of the Creator. So obeying the perfect teachings of Jesus brings us to how God wants us to live. The Son conquered the grave. The grave is the end of all who sin. The grave is the payment for sin. Satan founded the grave. How? Because Satan started death by being the first to sin against Almighty God. Jesus destroyed Satan's creation and fulfills the very first prophecy spoken of the Savior in Genesis 3:15. That's why Jesus came to "...destroy the works of the devil," 1 Jn 3:8. Satan came to ruin God's Creation with sin. Jesus came to ruin Satan's creation, death, with perfect obedience, which His blood shed proves. That's why in His blood, there is life. So the Gospel is God's reconciliation with man. How? Only through the Son. If you disobey the Son, you disobey the Father. Jesus says, “He who has seen me has seen the Father,” Jn 14:9. Repent and accept Jesus as Your Lord NOW!!! Then start to read the Gospels and obey His commands. Follow Jesus only, no other man, no religion. Only Jesus. Illia_ Troshuk A god who loved the world so much that he would become human, suffer and die for the world in order to redeem it in the New Testament. versus... A god who hated the world so much that he tried to commit genocide in the Old Testament. Can you see the difference? God saved Noah only because Noah was "righteous," whereas Jesus tried to save people who were "not righteous." That's two completely different and irreconcilable approaches to dealing with "sinners". And yet, the same god devised both plans. This is one of my favorite things to ask in a debate. "What was the purpose of the flood, was it not to cleanse the Earth of sin? Did it work?" Kind of reveals the lie in Yahweh's omnipotence.

Let's talk about natural selection. When we use the term "selection", that means someone has to be doing the selecting. Nature in and of itself is impersonal and it is impossible for something impersonal to act upon something that is personal. Now let's talk about DNA. It is a genetic code (which means it is information) as well as being so complex that it is impossible for it to have evolved. There is no room for trial and error.

  • @Raydensheraj

You come to the typical creationist misrepresentation of Natural selection... First...Selection works mainly through competition among individuals and their kin. The selection or elimination of larger population units is real but minor. It includes the struggle for food and mainly reproductive success. The animals that raise the most offspring to maturity will win in reproductive competition. And Natural selection isn't " selection for perfection " but a tinkerer. Are you saying that the " selector " made narrow birth canals in women causing abortions and the rise of c sections? Or that Men use their private part for two functions is intelligent design? Our declining Eye sight? Natural selection is one of the four basic premises of evolutionary theory, alongside mutation, migration and genetic drift. ... Natural selection occurs if four conditions are met: reproduction, heredity, variation in physical characteristics and variation in number of offspring per individual. Examples of NATURAL SELECTION= Deer mice that migrated to the sand hills of Nebraska changed from dark brown to light brown to better hide from predators in the sand. Galapagos finches all have different types of beaks. During drought, the finches with the larger beaks survived better than those with smaller beaks. During rainy times, more small seeds were produced and the finches with smaller beaks fared better. In one ecosystem, lizards that had long legs could climb better to avoid floods and reach food. Insects become resistant to pesticides very quickly, sometime in one generation. If an insect is resistant to the chemical, most of the offspring will also be resistant. Considering that insect generations can be a matter of weeks, insects in an area can become immune to a chemical within months. The bacterium Pseudomonas metabolizes nylon; but, when a certain type of this bacterium that did not eat nylon was placed in an environment where nylon was the only food, the bacterium evolved until it ate the nylon. Peacock females pick their mate according to the male's tail. The ones with the largest and brightest tails mate more often. Today, males that do not have bright feathers are very rare. The peppered moth used to be a light color with black spots. When the atmosphere in London became filled with soot because of the Industrial Revolution, the white trees became darker and light colored moths were eaten by birds more readily. Within months, moths became darker and lighter moths were rare. After the Industrial Revolution, light colored moths were found in greater numbers. Rat snakes are all very similar except in coloring. Some are striped and some are green, black, and orange. This is due to living in many different types of terrain and adapting to the environment. Warrior ants have a chemical signal that tells other ants in the family not to attack. Some have adapted and learned to imitate the chemical signal from other colonies so they can invade and take over another colony and the workers will never know. Sharks are colored white on the underside and blue or gray on the top. This is their camouflage as the top blends with the water color to someone looking down into the water and the bottom blends with the light coming through the water from above. Bacteria have become resistant to antibiotics and this can happen very quickly, since bacteria can produce several generations within one day. The strongest bacteria are the last to die and the antibiotics sometimes do not kill all of them. The field mustard plant survived a drought in southern California because of genetic changes that made it produce flowers earlier. Plants that survive a drought have to have a short growing season and the field mustard evolved quickly. Because of its long body, the moray eel's mouth did not produce enough suction to catch prey; so, it adapted and grew a second set of jaws and teeth. Humans have evolved and are still evolving. There are people more resistant to malaria that live in Africa. Humans don't become lactose intolerant as some species do. This is thought to be because of the domestication of cattle. Early humans survived because of a certain hand shape that could either toss a spear or throw a rock the best. In the 18th century, researchers found in an island community where there was a genetic disposition to mate earlier and have larger families. Over 140 years, the age at first reproduction dropped from 26 to 22 and this was due to natural selection.

The term selection is an analogy for conditions favoring some adaptations over others. The RNA world hypothesis gives experimental evidence proving the possibility of the genetic code evolving. We have seen the self assembly of amino acids, and nucleotide monomers (pentose sugars, nitrogenous bases) under the right conditions. We have also seen how they can form RNA strands which bend into enzymes that can self-replicate, elongate other RNA strands, and exchange information with still other RNA strands. So, you are wrong in your assertion that genetic codes cannot evolve, replicate, increase, or share information. So the invocation of a magical being isn't necessary. Magic was always the default explanation for what humans didn't understand and you are personally illustrating this.

What you have to understand is that there is a wide range of diversity of life, occupying every existent ecological niche. While evolution is proven to have happened we can still speculate (as we continue to learn) on possible pathways and details specific to certain scenarios. Just as in a court of law, a person can conclusively be found guilty of a crime without conclusively knowing certain details. Such as, the exact path they used to walk around the house, where they bought the weapon, and many more. Having knowledge that evolution is fact based on evidence (DNA, distribution of life on the planet, fossil record over geologic time, homologous features) will always allow us to speculate in the right direction on the details we don't know. Many of evolutionary pathways are possible but sometimes we aren't sure which one was taken. That's all. This is not a weakness of the theory (or understanding) of the mechanism of evolution because that is well understood.
