One of the most unprepossessing of people (I mean that in a good way), living one of the best lifestyles I can possibly imagine. Legend.

I agree. I always think 'Harry completely deserves all of these great cars'. If it were anyone else, they most certainly would not ;-)

how does or did he make his money?
"It's just a little bit heavier than a Mini Cooper S" *faints*
that noise when he floored to show how quick is to get from 30to60 is the best part I think
To be honest I like the Zonda better than its replacement and at least with the Zonda you can have some fun with the manual shift- a lost art in many newer cars

+jim dandy The Huayra wasn't a replacement. Haracio designed the Zonda and Huayra at roughly the same time

Yeah Huayra definitely isn’t a replacement, as Pagani are still building and selling Zondas as super wealthy people request them.

@Prakrit Biswas I'm not exactly sure. I think Horacio Pagani mentioned it somewhere in one of the videos for the Huayra. I would guess that it's because he wanted to explore a different avenue for achievable and practical high powered street performance. With turbos, you don't have to stress the engine as much to reach that 700-800 hp range, compared to natural aspiration.
The tractor pass makes this video. Thumbs up from me, Harry.
400rpm in 6th gear, and the engine breaks no sweat... anything with fewer cylinders would sound like it is about to stall gotta love the silky balance of a V12...
Thank you Harry, that 30 to 60 demonstration was epic and just plain cool.
Another fantastic video. The Zonda is just incredible and these two videos show it in more detail than I've ever seen. Thank you and keep them coming.
Harry, love the reviews, just the right amount of tech interspersed with conversation. That must be the Cotswolds that you are driving through, I'm back in Bisley soon, so will keep an eye out for a speeding Zonda/Lambo/330 !! Keep up the good work.
Sir! You are so lucky to have and enjoy all those beautiful cars (Espada, Zonda, Testarossa, etc.) with manual gear boxes...Love it!
just cant get enough of these vids keep em coming harry. thanks.
Harry, you're now easily my favorite car reviewer. Please please please keep these videos coming!!
Love the passion he puts in these diares and boy what a car. I cried at least three times during the whole video
Evo,the best car magazine, the most interesting journalists, the best videos!love from greece!
Nice demonstration of torque and acceleration. It's quite an example of how good the thing is! Easily my favorite reviewer in cars today.
i've been waiting for this for DAYS!!!!!
3:20, alle Gänge ohne Gas hochgeschaltet, dann Gas gegeben und das Teil zieht ab. Das ist so geil. Was ein Drehmoment!
Harry Metcalfe is the best car reviewer... in the world. :P I just love all his reviews. They're always thorough unlike some car reviewers I can mention. Thank you Harry. Thank you Evo. Please keep it up.
i really like the way hes so calm when making the review :)
The Zonda's my dream car! Amazing attention to detail especially on the inside. What a driving experience that would be! Manual gearbox, 600hp, a steering wheel and that's it! How a hypercar should be!
Perfect combination of old and new.
The conversational style and little incidentals you just don't hear in normal 'review' vids makes these so compelling!
This car like the video is akin to one of the finest wines, rare and special but oh so enjoyable. What a superb car and what a monumental engine, surely one of the finest ever created. I travel the road from Burford to Charlebury often, guess I'll pass you one day, to follow the Zonda on that stretch of road would be a treat indeed! Cheers Harry tony
@LP640Fan I'm with you on this. Harry's recent videos are just getting better and better. He shows so much practical stuff about these exotic cars!
I'm loving Harrys' honesty and approachability with these diary videos. I think we're getting jaded with Top Gears' overslick hollywood gloss, and that's what makes Harrys' honesty so satisfying.
love these evo diaries
stunning. the Zonda answers all kinds of questions about what an engine can do
First discovered the Zonda in Top Gear's top trumps card deck. Still looks like an absolute spaceship
Just a great freaking review and a great reviewer. 5 Stars
What he did with the gearbox while talking about torque was truly an awesome thing to watch.
You are selling us dream Harry, thank you.
This is flipping brilliant! I would love to drive one of these! Gonna work hard!
I watch your video and think of all the poor life choices I’ve made to inhibit my garage from looking like yours. Thanks for sharing. I really enjoy!
I love that this have simple manual gearbox. Thats is truely wonderful.
ending is the best part! Thanx harry
Such great video, need these on a compilation DVD.
i love these reviews
Great video again! Keep it up!
best car journo in the history of automotive journalism.
Top review as always
Awesome. Good videos, evo.
Harry is a legend
great video, great car, great job harry :) you mister have a got one of the best cars ever made
every time I see Harry's Zonda I want one more and more
Verry nice once more. Thanks
Harry's awesome! More people like him and Chris Harris, please!
If anyone has a true, deep felt passion for cars. Then its this guy.
amazing torque demonstration :)
NEVER seen ANYTHING like that - from sheer idling twisting force into SIXTH!!! Naturally pushing. That really shows what capacity can doe.
i like this kind of review, reviewing the car on it's every day driving experience, not 100% on its speed and 0 to 60 mph time..... like most reviews does.....
Nicely done video for not being a video pro. Beautifully distinctly designed car--one of a kind.
Keep 'um coming Harry!
We need more!
brilliant Harry......just
God, the SOUND, THE SOUND!
ohhh i love evo diaries (:
We as fellow drivers should give the same concessions to drivers of cars like these as we do to law enforcement personnel. Whenever see them coming we should move aside give them a free path and marvel as they go by full throttle. Because believe it or not a lot of super car owners are real down to earth gentlemen. And Harry Metcalfe is class act if I've ever seen one. Harry you deserve that car enjoy.
I was flabbergasted by the performance of this car... I WANT.
Awesome! Hoping there's a part 3... and 4... and 5...
Love the Zonda.
This is just brilliant! Bring more of these and some reviews by Chris Harris, and I won't need youtube for anything else.
1st! Love all the Harry's Garage Videos!
Love that car!
Next best thing to a real life tour, fantastic !
Mental! At least you had some great fun in it..... Running costs are monumental.🚗🚗😉
Waiting for part 3!
About the cold gearbox 2nd gear engagement. Shouldn't you be skipping 2nd and go to 3rd instead? And since the engine is so flexible, should be a problem at all right??
pure art.
4:44 that's a nice view!
very nice video
sound on the overrun at 3.17 or so is insane!!!
love it!!!!!
Excellent video, I like the Panerai you're wearing too. :-)
was that a chunk of tire tread hanging onto the camera lense at the end? hahaha, awesome car and a great review, love it
i like a tough gearbox, so raw!
this series is more catchy than too many of them tv series to me... there you go, mr. metcalfe.
......and no flappy paddles.
he cut the part out at the end of the 6th gear pull saying he got to 100 mph :L when it was first uploaded that bit was included
awesome!!
God i love that car!
I hope this is part 2/100 :)
Wow.... what a machine
He actually has three homes, one in Chipping Norton, one in Isle of Man and one in Bayswater which is in London. :)
its about as heavy as an s2000
the number plates on cars (UK) are most there for traffic cameras which if the car is speeding then it takes a picture of the back not the front.
@zhbroder No the SLR uses a 5.4 liter V8 Supercharged engine. This engine is much more older in design going back to the 90s. This V12 is a Mercedes M120 variant. Mercedes has been supplying Pagani with engines since their inception.
Part 3, 4, 5, 6 ,7... We will be waiting! f
I went to the Goodwood FOS probably 1999 and there was a silver \pagini Zonda Hurtling around the circiut, could it have been this one?

Gregory Page yes
just looked them up! i have never seen one before though!
I don't know if that's just a mechanics fairy tale but flooring the throttle on high gear, low revs supposed to be quite damaging to the engine, but I get the point with the torque.
Well, I can say that this man has the best life.
Wish I could like this video twice.
This video's so good there's more likes than views
Where´s part 3 Harry?????? Come on give us part 3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,etc, please :) Your the best Harry, keep this videos coming.Cheers from Portugal
jajaja i liked the little piece of tire hanging of the lent at the end of the vid
With the gearbox to warm up before properly shifting it's like a 996 GT3.
I hope there are twenty parts to this video series
YESSSS!!
I would like Harry reviewing my car, so I could fall in love again with my opel :)
Harry, PLEASE, can you make a video everytime you drive your Zonda? :-)
