"Is that ok? That it makes that noise." Something every CT9A owner has heard if they have a significant other

Very informative video! Couple things to note; Andy is definitely right on the rear arms being a pain to deal with - especially in my application which is longer than stock (I’ll get to that later). And it was briefly talked about but the rear motion ratio impacts the choice of spring rate in that your effective rate will be lower than the listed weight on the spring because the knuckle/wheel moves more than the shock itself. That’s why a lot of Evo’s are recommended equal or higher rear rates compared to the fronts even though the weight distribution is front biased. I run Ohlins R&T for the summer/hdpe’s and EXT group N for the winter and rallycross

I always like seeing other suspension options available for our platform other than the very expressive KW's or Ohlins. I personally run Feal coilovers on my Evo, pretty happy with them.

been running ohlins forever on my evo - ots until earlier this year where i had them custom valved. i find that when I get the preload on the springs to the 2mm or so they recommend, getting the ride height on the evo to where I'd like it on the front requires adding so much height to the bottom perch that it's actually a little tricky to get my fingers in to turn the knob.. i've worked around this by adding around 1/4" to 1/2" of preload to raise the car, it should honestly have enough bump travel to handle that, i would think.. good point on the wheel clearance, especially if you have enough adjustment up top to hit the camber you're looking for.

Great video! I just bought a set of fortune 500's. Hopefully they are as good as the reviews. If I had seen this before, I might have changed my mind lol. Have a great day

Your videos are awesome and rare! But I have to ask... what is that creaking sound that you played in that clip with your girl? Mine is doing the exact same thing at low speeds left or right. I have Apexi coilovers.

Thanks! The noise is usual from where the bottom of the spring meets the perch. The sound is spring binding. See 3:13 in the video. Reinharte has thrust bearings to prevent spring bind.

Does the inner fender liner need removed when lowering it? Or is there a minimum ride height to prevent this?

You should not have to remove the fender liners. If you are removing them, you are probably to low for proper suspension functionality.
