You learn to parse it pretty quickly. A dozen hours, maybe two dozen, and you can separate it all out in your mind easily enough.

As a non skullgirls player, I feel like this game would be much more appealing as 1 vs 1, the characters and gameplay look amazing, but there is so much clutter at the same time.

What @mnl309 said. You _can_ do 1v1 or any variation up to 3. But it's a muuuuuch more cerebral game the more characters you have. Thats the appeal. It's like UMvC3 but faster.

Gotta do my part and mention that Future Club doing that censorship patch is some awful stuff, and trying to ignore it won't make the angry community go away or forget. Too many people who really loved this game got burned over that patch, their actions afterwards, and Mike Z's side of the story finally seeing the light of day. Outside of that, love that you are still chugging on Spooky. Been subbed for years, keep doin your thing.

I’m fine with the Filia panty censor, but everything else was unreasonable. I mean, if Filia’s comb is a “black stereotype”, why does Fukua, THE BLACK VERSION OF HER keep it? Makes no sense. Skullgirls being a fighting game is filled to the brim with violence, but Big Band’s somehow crossed the line? Makes no sense Also removing crowdfunded content (Soviet Announcer) from crowdfunded game is a big no-no. Another big no-no is retweeting DaPurpleSharpie calling the entire playerbase child predators then later deleting the retweet out of fear of backlash
