that's actually crazy about the throttle and shift cables. I never knew that and ive been working on outboards 20 years. I guess you could, in theory, just make sure the cable has the one normal 10-15'' loop and stuff the rest in the boat without kinking it, but now i'm gonna make sure all my customers have the correct lengths knowing what it does for slop! many thanks.

What symptoms causes a defect in the tps? I own a 90 etec that runs fine until 1700-1800 RPM. Then it begins to stutter. No torque when accelerating and stuttering. Fuel is new, filters changed, plugs changed, high pressure pump and vst changed. It did not solve the problem. Thanks!

60 HP e-tec engine will not start unless you unplug the fuel pump wire. then it will start up. Then plug it back in and it will run until you turn it off then it will not start up again until unplug the fuel pump wire. Anyone heard of this happening? I have new injectors, new fuel pump, new lift pump, new coils. all the voltage seam to be right oil pump is working. Anyone got a clue about this.
