Its heartening to see someone not from medical field to voice about this . Because only then , this will reach a lot of people. Each time a doctor voices out againt these , it is often viewed as a private problem for the doctors , but in reality we talk about these for the welfare of the people , so that they dont get cheated by quacks like these . Thanks Mr. Jason . I am a doctor myself, a dermatologist. Next up , I request you to put a video highlighting the humongous amount of fake cosmetologists / Beauticians/so called influencers who are promoting skin care products and assumung the role of dermatologists and giving out medical advises.

Such an eye opening video on various levels. I myself attended anupama’s class and after her class I verified some of the info with the doctor and my doc right away rejected those saying they are untrue. Even after my doc’s info I did a lot of reading and found after all my doc is right. Her videos,classes focus mainly on natural birth and natural conception. For some medical reason if we opt for medical conception or c section they will make you feel less of a woman and mother. All her followers are blind people

They gain money by shaming and making mothers feel guilty for not being able to breastfeed. Most moms are experiencing postpartum depression because of these people. It’s okay to bottle feed either way baby should be healthy and mother also should be healthy to take care of the child. No point in putting so much stress on breastfeeding while mom is on stress she goes into depression.

These influencers like Maya's Amma manipulate innocent mothers/parents that they are not good mothers/parents and create guilt among mothers and parents and sell product like courses , merchandise etc ..... where these crooks are not even certified professionals to address the topic they handle. As a student of business I can say in simple terms - these influencers create or propagate a problem that don't even exist as they propagate and claim they have the solution for that problem and suck money from the guilt feelings of innocent parents. Note : For me these influencers are as bad as abusers and rapist

I have uninstalled Instagram and feeling relieved.. Lot of influenzers on work,birth, deliveries, parenting, family.. Being a new mom I felt very bad seeing those videos whether mine is in right pathway or not.. No one cared about those ladies having perfect life & limelight blabbering whatever shit they can.. Silently stressing most of the women.. Really u r doing great job and eyeopener for this scam dude

After crossing EDD my doctor went for c sec as my baby’s head was slightly tilted. Later in my locality all the neighbours talked rubbish about my delivery bcz it was not normal. At that time of postpartum depression, i had a feeling that I should have been went for any of these birth centers regretting my doctor’s words. But later I realised that was just postpartum effects. Happy i didn’t fell for their words and listened to my doctor. Today even with c section me n my baby are absolutely fine.

These kind of unprofessional Influencer's must be punished for promoting these things for monitory reasons. They are doing content creation and living their life by providing the things that they dont know. thanks for bringing this issue up. Action should be immediately taken on these fools.

Someone spoke about it finally.. I’m a mom of 8 month baby girl. Anupama’s fee is high for her pregnancy classes. Felt not worth the money after attending her sessions. From then on I decided not to go behind these group of people. Just listen to your mom/mil and get help from your family. They are the best support group. Never waste money on these fancy courses. Trust your doctor and consult them if any help required

I totally agree with Anupama vriksham , she didn’t even refer me to lactation consultant when in need , she something blabbered some advise on breastfeeding. She is one of the reason for my worst breastfeeding journey. I have attended her breastfeeding class twice and I can see how she blabbers and finishes off the class because the time was up. 100 percent true of what you said.

So happy and relieved to see many doctors commenting here positively. Anupama vrishkam , in a video, climbed a hanging ladder ( her second child i think) in full term pregnancy with full enthusiasm and in a very jubilant manner, implying that it is safe to do such things in full term pregnancy. I was shocked beyond limits thinking abt any of her followers thinking that it is ok to do so. Imagine the horror. I commented this in one of her interview videos and it got promptly deleted. No wonder! Young anxious mothers or to be mothers plz listen to ur doctor.

Children are not only parents responsibility. They are society's responsibility 👍

Where you should be preparing for childbirth and parenting is from WHO labour care guide. WHO and NHS support home births when necessary. It’s evidence based. Saying if u give birth naturally your baby dies is irresponsibly made and a cherry picked example. Any hospital which is sincere about informed consent, and not isolating you during birth is not a negotiable. For parenting- read Scott peck, Philippa perry, or even from John Hopkins website/Harvard medical. Stay upto date on NiH. If you’re not from a science background- follow those who put it in a way you can understand eg- Anupama, Mayas mama etc share what’s on their page. Most Indians are going towards sleep training- which no parenting influencer has shared until now. Sternauissa is a great place to start. If he endorses “smack the **** out of your kids” it says all I need to know about him.

I stumbled across this video and I simply cannot express how revolutionary of a learning this was. To see what was behind the mask of such influencers who claim themselves as experts claiming to have knowledgeon such sensitive and important topics such as Body boundaries and sex education. A perfect example why failure to embrace moderation leads to such toxic idealogists and extremists. Like you said, these are the true evils of society and must be terminated at root. Me and my friend (also her huge fan) were discussing about topics like gentle parenting and whether a child has consent or not. It all became so clear at 49:55. just brilliant !! This scenario reminds me of an old incident, An Amway business representative after completing a one week course in "nutrition n diet", called himself as Nutritionist and conducted a health meet to promote the supplements. I attended that meeting along with my dad. I didn't know how dangerous it was (at that time) But my dad who was having diabetes consumed too much of supplements, protein powder etc., and ended up with kidney failure. 😢 and he passed away in a few months. At that time I was so furious against half baked information and over confident ppl preaching without proper knowledge.. this is yet another drama, with different actors yet the same old story..😥😕

Am one of the victim of Amway. I consumed their protein powder when I was in 3rd grade given by my dad's elder sister recommended by her son and daughter in law. After one year I got my periods. My whole childhood was ruined by them. They treated me as a adult and because of that so many mental abuse were given by my so called relatives.

Im sorry for your loss but Nutrilite supplements are the best i would say, I just consume them on daily basis, 1st of all if a person having diabetes for sure intake a lot of medications and which might caused him kidney failure, you can't blame the supplements. May I know how many years did he consumed ? Because one of friend who went through cancer has been fully recovered through Nutrilite supplements. I personally benefittted, our family hasn't visited hospitals for the past 10years. But u can't blame the supplements for already damaged organs due to heavy medication and not supplements. And Im not doing Amway business but I'm a consumer. I felt the urge to comment because me and my family have benefitted a lot through it and u cannot simply blame the supplements.

Really worth watching!! Those influecer really created unwanted anxiety for me and my partner that "Having and Growing a baby is not a easy thing". I still remember those influencer made a marketing about women related issue and ferility issue. They were giving tips like " Cut down rice and sugar!! There are biggest enemy for those trying to concieve." This one thing literally borrow unexplained guilty and eating disorder if i consume things that they list out. I was pushed into stressful lifestyle just because pregnancy was not happening for me. Believing their testimonies in instagram. Finally, i decided to give up and live the life as i wish. Suprisely i got pregnant after that. All are frauds!!

Need more people like you for our Tamil community spread around the world. Make more videos like this and expose these kind of half baked influencers.

I found your video through a Reddit post and I can’t believe I watched the entire video given how short my attention span is. My child is almost a teen now and I don’t follow these influencers but their posts pop up on my Insta feed often and I do know about them. While I don’t agree with you on everything, I think you’ve raised some very important concerns. The thing with influencers like this is, whatever they practice in their own homes is what they think is the ultimate truth that everyone should follow and that if they don’t, they’re doing it wrong. The fact of the matter is each child is different and each family has its own culture and sensibilities and parenting must reflect this. Anyone who says I have a one-size-fits-all solution is being dishonest. I’m glad you mentioned transitioning of minors in the West. It’s beyond horrible what’s happening. There are many influencers and school teachers even who truly believe they’re being heroes by confusing young children about their gender identity. You hear of so many cases of minors having undergone transition who regret their decision and are now trying to detransition but can’t go back to their old selves because they’ve been permanently altered with surgeries and hormones. Sadly, there’s huge support for this by the liberal government.

I don't know why mommies don't wish to explore and experience their own parenting style trusting their own inner instincts..or ask doctors who are professionals instead of these people...who is also a mother who is also equally in a learning curve phase ..and she too wouldn't have seen too many ...not every child or mother are same..culture varies what suits one person may not suit other ....how can it be so generalized and moral policing?

Not everything can be experienced and taught to kids.. some content these so called influencers share is good but the followers need to take what they need and leave the rest, stop this going behind anything this person says is researched and true..

Please know the difference between constitution, statutes, act, policy, guidelines... constitution provides a view regarding how to create a law, what are the limitations to the govt while creating a law, gives the right of the citizen as well as foreigners, etc... constitution has nothing to do with this case

Glad you gave detailed information about these scammers. They tend to make simple things complex and tougher. Just for sake of publicity and monetization, these ppl are in social media. Legal action has to be taken and they should be warned
