My theory is: after her husband died probably by a heart attack or heart disease, she was so grieving which triggered a psychosis and took drastic measures to prevent her daughter to suffer the same fate by putting her on a strict diet and managing her weight by starving her, it's Anorexia by proxy

I totally agree! Not only did I feed my own kids, but I fed neighbor kids (without knowing it) if I have something you need - it's yours! Didn't find out about this until years later. I was more than fine with it.

My Outcome: The CPS worker put Agatha into temporarily foster home while Monica receiving mental treatment for her psychosis, and when the superintendent found out, Monica was suspended and she was demoted. Jackie have been promoted as the new principal and standing up for what's right for the children. After Monicia's suspension is up, she finally managed her medications for her mental illness and got Agatha back, she decided to treat her daughter right by giving her enough food to eat and apologized to Jackie for the way she treated her.

I can see so many scenarios; Scenario #1,her husband died of health complications based on the way he eats,and she didn't want her daughter or the other students to experience that.Scenario #2 the mom's parents fat/body shamed her, and it led to her doing the same thing to her daughter.

Clearly the Mom needs psychiatric help

That kind of parent ends up traumatizing their own child. I can understand watching your child’s health & feeding them healthy foods, but this one went too far. She needs counseling, & because of her obsession towards her child; I imagine the child does too! Apparently, the husband’s & Dad’s untimely death played a major role in the Mother’s actions. Thank you for sharing this interesting story.

Summary: Principal Leland very deeply regrets it as she is taken to CPS officer due to child abuse and neglect in school. It is unclear and unknown whether the replacement will be. It is possible that new principal is a male black one with more empathy and diversity. He will see Agatha well-fed soon.

My mom made my school lunch every week she is the best mom ever

My kindergarten teacher convinced us she had the right to go through our lunch boxes without our permission to take chocolate snacks away. This was back in the early 90s when chocolate was considered bad for you.
