My dad used to play Evie when we children were growing up. Dad passed away on September 28th of this year, but when I hear this song, it makes me fondly think of the lessons he taught us through the music he played for us!

Is anyone else is listening to songs in 2021? I love this so much. I could remember we had to family members drown at sea and this song brings comfort to our souls, the song was just out.. love it

Hearing this song takes me on a journey to the past when everything felt special compared to today in 2021.

Beautiful singer my favourite christian singer.

This was a very popular Christian gospel song in my origin minority Christian country, Malaysia in the early 80s & also one of my favorite meaningful song. Still evergreen after 40 years. Praise the Lord !!! Amen.

I was 11 when she became popular in America. I thought she was the prettiest, the cutest girl I ever saw in my life. I still do - as beautiful inside as out!

Evie ,through her songs, ...has been my inspiration to serve the Lord from the early 80's...i was only 13!...and everytime i hear her,...i am reminded of God's faithfulness and His goodness throughout the years ...God bless you Evie...keep being an "instrument of worship" for the Lord💝.

Had privilidges to air her songs over Christian radio,, it be even a greater privilidge to actually meet Evie someday,,,, God bless you girl. What a treasure to bring so many lives to Christ Jesus,,,

I still have the album this song is on!

I saw her live at ORU somewhere in the 1976-77 timeframe and she did this song. A cold, clear November night as I recall, but maybe not, that was a long time ago, ha. She really was very vivacious, for sure. All us students were very impressed with her.

This must have been the Billy Graham Crusade in the late 70's, in Toronto, Canada? I can remember it and the Gaithers. Exhibition Stadium.

Personally, I think it was the saddest thing that she left off singinf to follow her husband into his ministry. Maybe one of those times when it should have bern the other way around. At least for a few years, and then settled into a pastoral ministry. She waz a unique teeasure indeed.
