On the contrary, I find her technique very strong. Great feet, great turnout, excellent range of motion and control, and about as perfectly proportioned as you can get. She is a petit dancer a la Osipova, Vishneva, and Cojocaru, with ever the charm. But until Balanchine redefined to the bodytype of dance, ballerinas were typically on the petit side. Her only weak point, I think, are her turns, she can get a little off balance (but hell, even Lopatkina has issues with that).

@kimmois1 She is no longer listed on the Mariinsky website, yet she is only listed as a guest soloist at the Bolshoi. Is she for sure switching theatres? Her website doesn't really say anything either, did you read it in an article?

@camille32087 Babes, she's left Mariinsky for definite a little while ago, Fillin made a press release about a new dancer joining the ranks very soon, which one can only now assume is Obraztsova - though no official statement as yet. Matvienko has also left Mariinsky rumoured to be going to Bolshoi. Frankely under vaziev's horrendous mismanagement I'm surprised he managed to hold on to Obraztsova for as long as they did.
