Just a comment about Tax . . If you are an employee of a Company, you do get payroll deductions (Federal Tax, State Tax, etc specified in your payroll receipt) or if you are an independent professional who works self-employed , you need to make a ISR declaration, what would be a 1099 in the usa.

@JoseArteagaTravels
Жыл бұрын
Welcome aboard! Great Question! Well it's actually not that hard they got your traditional Car rental companies out here and they also have smaller ones with cheaper prices. You can find most of the cheaper car rental places in the Facebook groups. Try checking out there. But all you need is a valid license from any country and thats it you can drive in Mexico. Hope that helps!

Whoa they ask for more than your passport

All they ask for is passport and visa. That is your only form of identification here in Mexico. btw as i mentioned in the video there are places that will rent out to you without any ID and just care about the cash.
I just applied for a residence VISA at the Mexican consulate in Chicago. I'll know by the 20th if it's approved & planning a trip in November to open a bank account.

I have no idea. You need to check with your American credit card companies and see if they allow that in Mexico. Only ones Approved to get regular loans need to be Mexican Citizens and hold a job.
Do you get your deposit back after your lease expired?
@JoseArteagaTravels

All depends on many factors, but a common practice is to use the deposits you have with the landlord as your last months rent that way neither party has to worry about returning a deposit.

Jose, I would like to get Mexico driver's license. I've heard front of DMV I can hire license broker and expedite the process. If it's true do you know how much brokers charge for the service?
@JoseArteagaTravels
Жыл бұрын
Depends on what state of Mexico you are in. Here in the Yucatan it is a bit more difficult than in other parts of the country but it can be done. I am in the process of getting mine right now and will talk about the whole experience in an upcoming video. I could not find any brokers but i did find a driving school that says once I pass with them I can automatically get my license without any more testing. In a place like Mexico City you just walk in with some cash a CFE Bill and your ID and you get a license. Like i said each state is different, but regardless i will keep you posted
