I have to many trees now im abit picky on how i do things, i kinda want to have the same amount of trees i get when I first start the game but i dont know how many there were.I know its abit stupid 😂

A tip for anyone look at this video now, is that you should use your stone axe for getting wood out of trees, not the other axe. The stone axe won’t chop down your tree after the third time hitting it, you can hit it as much as you want afterwards and it won’t chop it

This is a very good hack I just tried it out and it works at first I was surprised but I’m happy that I don’t break any of my trees now tysm for the hack!

pretty sure it is 100 for domestic fruit and 500 for foreign. you said 500 and 1000...

2:25 You can get a guaranteed 8 sticks out of every tree along with any additional items if it contains any. The amount of sticks you get doesn’t lessen just because you get bells too or whatever. If you only got 7 and something else, pick up a stick and shake again, it’s cause the tree doesn’t have space to drop the 8th one. If it’s by water it’ll probably only drop 6 so pick up 2 and shake again. I tested it on all the non fruit trees on my island.

Nintendo Guru I didn’t know it worked on fruit trees as well till I just tried it. I only got 6 out of it though instead of 8 Edit: So I just spent the last 5 minutes shaking a single fruit tree (for... scientific purposes) and have gotten 54 branches out and counting. So I think the amount is unlimited and it’s just how long you’re willing to spend shaking the tree🤣 Edit: correction, 58 branches

You can keep shaking the tree will give you 8 branches per tree. But carry your net because a wasps nest could fall out and you will need that net to catch the wasp.

for some reason my trees are mainly dropping hardwood and softwood and rarely any regular wood. there a reason for this? same’s been happening to two of my friends

I know I'm a little late, but I get a lot more regular wood from cedar trees than I do regular trees. I think it's just the way they're made to function. If you dig up a regular tree, it'll often have the name "Hardwood Tree" or "Softwood Tree," therefore each with drop the respective type of wood more than any other type. So try going for cedar trees if you're in need of regular wood. Hope this helps :)

Here’s a tip: If you want coconut trees on grass, terraform grass to sand and plant it on that. :D

You missed one very important thing, how do we grow trees? What are the limiting factors to grow trees? How many spaces should we leave in between trees? So many questions left unanswered come on Bobby you're better than this!

For the money trees, if you plant anywhere from 1-10,000 bells, you'll get back three bags of the amount planted, anything higher than that there is a much smaller chance of getting what you planted. Most of the time you'll just get three bags of 10,000 instead. Money trees DO NOT grow the money back like fruit trees do.

What about all the rules for growing trees???? spacing, max amount in a nxn area, all that not sure if the rules are the same as new leaf, guess i gotta find out

I will add that I went to 3 different islands and have not found bamboo yet. Also you need to bury the money you find back into the same hole you just pulled it out of or it will not grow a money tree.

Have fruits like lychees, mangos and durians been removed from acnh? I remember having them in new leaf

To answer you i go two spaces between each tree. So a hole. 2 empty plots then another hole. One the tree is fully mature you can space them one empty space between.

Well it's not useless to me, boyfriend set a trap to get me off HayDay !! If I've planted a fruit tree and it's not fully developed but I want to move it to another spot, can I or do I have to wait till its fully developed first? It's like 2 day old small trees that's almost grown.

What is the number of "grid spaces" trees need to be apart for fruit to grow?

Do I need all kinds of trees on my island or could I just replace everything with fruit trees? Can I get rid of all of my regular trees and just replace them with fruit trees or will this avoid me getting furniture, branches and wasps? What's the difference between needle trees and regular trees, just the asthetic?

I have way too many trees so this would be interesting and I can finally tidy them up, knowing which ones and how many I need.

I don’t like the idea of introducing invasive fruits, even though it is highly profitable. My island is full of apple trees like it was in the beginning. Dense apple forests and spruce tree mountains.

Actually my dude, you can get 8 branches from each tree as long as there isn't anything else on the ground... and if you shake the tree again after picking up the branches, you can get 8 more, just keep shaking it, they will come... and as others have said your bell price for fruit is way off

So I've hit a tree at night and this thing fell down on a string then rose back up. It reminded me of a coocoo clock bell thing that hangs below it. I didn't wanna cut the tree down but then it never did it again. What did I miss out on??

Its a bag worm once you see it you have a sort time to catch it. But you can shake the tree again at it will fall out. So when you see it get you net out. Don't worry if you miss you have multiple attempts to get it

Not at all. You need to dig the stump out with a shovel. Or leave jt and certain beetles will show up on it and you can catch them.

I've tested it, and accessing the tool ring when wasps are chasing causes the wasps to stop and circle around the spot they're currently in, and gives you the chance to take your net out and grab them

I always carry my net next to my axe in my inventory so if a nest falls out, all you have to do is press left or right on the D-pad depending in which order you put them in. Your method sounds easier though, I will be trying that with the tarantulas

You will need to dig out the tree stumps and then plant fruit in those holes.

Not even close to EVERYTHING you need to know about trees. Good if you just picked up the game tho. If you've played more than a week look for something else.

To be fair. This video was made right at launch not even a week in. Since then I have done follow up videos about orchards and more things about the trees that were missed in this video because of the changes that took place between new leaf and new horizons.

Just my way of doing it. I just started about four days ago so I don't have much experience. Please tell me if there is an easier less tedious way to do this. I go through a section of the island at a time because it gets tedious and if I want to take a break I know what I've done that day. I shake each tree up to five times after I have received EACH item. I have found after those five shakes with no result I'm probably not going to get more at that time. Also have noticed that I can get up to eight items from a tree in one shaking session. I leave the items I received on the ground and go on to the next tree so I know I shook that tree and how many items I got. When I've done each tree I go back through, pick up the items and reshake any tree that has not given me eight items using the method above. I have not always gotten eight items from each tree each day. I then go through and chop (using stone ax) my three pieces of wood from each tree leaving those on the ground till I make my way through all of the trees, then I go back through and pick them up. I do all the shaking first so I can keep the net in hand in case I get a wasp nest I won't have to try to switch between ax and net. I don't know it this process works for all trees but it has for the original and fruit trees. Some may find this overkill but I'm new and a bit obsessive. :)

Kyber Knight I assume you mean like the pine trees? In December during christmas time they will have lights on them to celebrate “toy day”. So I’d say keep some for decoration.

Hey, if you see this, there's this brown thing falling from my tree when I shake it. It looks like a pinecone, but it goes back up after like 4 seconds. What is it and how do I get it?

And remember to hold your net while shaking them. Wasps can spawn as well. They will attack you if you don’t either catch them, or hide in a building to escape them.

i planted bamboo a week ago and only received one sprout. am i doing it wrong?

It could be in an area with no room to grow. Usually Bamboo is like weeds and sprout all over the place.

But if you let them stay there as stamp, they will be a place for bugs, where you can catch them (I heard some bugs only come to tree stumps)

Trees give you unlimited sticks. Shake both sides of the tree then pick up the sticks and repeat! I did it and got 280 sticks from one tree.

You get a maximum amount of 14 from each tree and it’s every single tree not some of them. You just keep shaking until you get 14 branches from each tree, I’ve tested this multiple times and it’s fact.

Okay but, I cropped down all my tress in one day and they won't grow back. It's been 3 days. I'm severely stupid and understand nothing.

They won’t grow back if you chop them down. You’ll need to dig them up with a shovel. Then either plant fruit into the holes or tree saplings (you can get the saplings from the nooks)

How do you pick up the sticks?

Hey I did an orchard with all the trees having one space between each other. Only the trees in the corners are growing. I’ve waited for five days and all the fruit I planted are still saplings(besides the ones in the corners.
