Hey Jason, just want to thank you for all your content regarding Mevo. I work for a ministry called Charlie’s Lunch, we have feeding centers in poor communities in 8 nations of the world right now. 32 feeding centers. We’ve served 9 million lunches over 25 years in the name of Jesus. Anyways, we recently were given a Mevo setup and I am learning all I can from your channel and others so we can live stream from a feeding center next week. Thanks for putting out the content you do. I'm glad to see I am not the only one who was having issues streaming on Facebook. A year ago, came to the same conclusion, streaming to KZread was always effortless, so just past a link on Facebook for the members to click on, to take them to the KZread and view the stream.

I feel somewhat overwhelmed but this helps to unlock some neuro connections. I am still confused about how to upload a recorded session to KZread. Thank you for your time.

Get the recorded video onto the device you use (I use my ipad but you may be using a computer). Go to your KZread channel and at the top right of the screen select your icon then choose KZread Studio. Tap on the upload button and choose the video. It will walk you thru the rest.

Thank you for the kind words! Not natively in the Multicam app. If you have the Mevo Pro subscription you can run it on another device and bring it in this way.

Thank you Jason! I appreciate your thorough coverage of the Mevo. Im new to Mevo! Whats the most reliable and constant way to connect Mevo ZOOM? I ran the Mevo App from my iPad Pro M1 which was the was co-host on Zoom. I used my old MacBook Pro (2010) with latest Zoom update. I used the MacBook Pro as Zoom Host. I had a Canon M50 MK II tethered to the MacBook Pro for main camera. I used my Mevo camera and App as a secondary camera for Zoom and it worked at home. However when I tried to setup at another location using their WiFi, which was strong. I could not connect the Mevo Camera and Mevo APP in Zoom with all devices on same WiFi. I missed having the benefit of the built in overlays and lower thirds which was disappointing. Whats the proper way to have consistency?

My mevo will motivate work to live stream to facebook. Can u help?! It says need to update facebook permissions and kicks me out.. How to fix?!

Is that cropping feature you mentioned at 10:00 also availabe within the Mevo Multicam app?

Its not. Single cam feature only... at least for now. They have some software changes coming

I only have one Mevo start camera... can use the multi-cam app? Does it matter? For Baseball... What is the best way to add player info into an overlay?

The best way, IMO, is to use SidelineHD. But to do it without having to score the game I think Multicam is easier. It doesn’t care how many cameras you have. But its overlay management method is easier to use than the single cam app. You’ll have a selectable overlay for each player and all you have to do is tap them on and off.

How far from the backstop I can set up mevo cam for my stream. No fencing backstop, will stream from the narrators cabin. Using only 1 mevo start

Great question! The distance from home plate will depend on your tolerance for the size of your players on the screen. With the Mevo’s 84° fov you should be able to catch 1st and 3rd from about 30ft behind home.

The PanTiltZoom beta app on android reports to be controlling it, but I dont have it so not speaking from experience. PTZ for NDI is coming to Mevo Multicam but not ready for release just yet. I’ve been using the physical remote to control it on mine but there will be options by the time it’s shipping.

How do I play a video with its audio?

Into your stream? Mevo Go on another device and use screencast. It brings both video and audio. Then just make sure this input is active in the audio settings in mevo.

My biggest problem, currently seems to be buffering because I’m using my phone as an ISP. is there a work around, or do I need to consider a hotspot?

Is it an old phone? It would be more likely to be a crowded cell tower hurting your stream. Is there an another service provider in your area with good coverage?

Mevo has been very easy and simple for us to stream our services but I am trying to find a way to put the mevo (or a new camera) in the back of the auditorium. The zoom on the mevo just isn't strong enough to make this work. I'd love to find a PTZ with an app to stream from an iPad like we do with the mevo. Does such a thing exist?

A ptz camera with NDI will allow integration to Mevo’s Multicam. requires the pro subscription but definitely worth it imo

Have you used multiple Mevo Starts with NDI to the Yolobox Pro?
