The app is one of the best parts of the camera system, IMO. Glad you enjoyed it!

This changes everything for small Creators like me. This will save me a lot of money. I was planning on saving up for 2 new dslr cameras for my setup which was going to cost me over $2000. I'm so glad that they making a more affordable opinion for small content Creators on a budget. Awesome video!

To all the folks commenting that there are cheaper solutions: yes, your'e right. But for the quality, reliability, and ease of use, it's usually worth paying extra, in my opinion. I've been using these Mevos to livestream and they work really well for the money. If you can afford it, get them!

I think these are way over priced for their specs, and can’t believe how many KZreadrs are promoting these. If they were half the price they might be reasonable but at the price they charge all I can say is Don’t waste your money. Concept is great, pricing is way out.

Looking to invest in this product, but wanted to know how it works with recording for podcast and then editing the video footage from the three cameras in post production

I want to use this "in the field" and record to a phone/iPad/laptop. Would wifi from such be fast enough? Is there a light indicator on each camera for which is selected? If you use an external mic, is it the only one recorded to the phone/iPad?

I love Logitech computer products. I had no idea they made cameras like this too!

You do not need a computer to use a Mevo Just a Smartt Phone (12) or newer or 7 and above Tablet They work well with cell service

Hi, thank you very much for your video. My question to you is this. I would like to use it for interviews, but I also like to go out a lot. I would like to record live bands. They’re fine with that, but what should I use for one microphone that records high-quality stereo? Will the Lavalier microphone record in stereo, and is that adequate for recording a band or do I need to buy a separate microphone, and how do I hook it up so that the sound is not changing from each camera as it changes cameras?

can it connect to zoom so we can use powerpoint presentation on 1 live video feed and the other 2 using the mveo cameras?

Do you know if there is a way to also mix in a PowerPoint presentation to the livestream?

Always good stuff on your channel, thank you. I have some questions. 1. If my wireless mic is on cam 1 but video is showing cam 2 or 3, so the viewers can listen to cam 1? Not sure how the audio output works. 2. Computer becomes the switcher? 3. If I wanna record a video instead of a livestream, it can be done with the app? It’s not very affordable to many people but I think there are more options are coming soon.

Good questions! The phone or tablet app controls the cameras and you can use the app to select the audio output and even switch between cameras. The sound can come from any camera, not just the ones that are showing the visual output. And you can definitely record a video without livestreaming (this is my personal preference). While these cameras aren't cheap and more affordable options exist, I think the price is reasonable if you need to have multicamera features -- you can link up an unlimited amount of cameras with this system. I hope this helps!

The camera has a pretty fast aperture, so it handles low light better than most webcams. If you want to film a live comedy show, I feel like there is usually a good amount of stage lighting at shows like that, and as long as that is the case, the video qaulity should be pretty decent.

I think it would work for your setup. Each camera has its own mic jack, so you could plug in different mics to each camera and use the app to control the sound.

I got 6 of these cameras,, did a couple live streams with them,, super easy to use and great video quality.. only problem I find is when a camera cuts in and out,, need a fix for that,, hope people can check my live streams out,, to see how good they are ,, THEY are GREAT

How is the latency as far as close up shots. I can't have lips being out to the audio. It's fine for distant shots but not close up. My DJI Pocket 2 has close to zero latency which is what I am aiming for.

There is lag/latency if you are streaming.

This is the clearest, most concise and informative mevo video that I have seen yet. The host is pretty and nice to look at as well. Thank you for the well done content.

It's one of the Mevo accessories, and it works really well. I'll be doing a dedicated accessories video soon.

I looked at the Mevo app, and it looks like the app can be used with the iPhone and iPad as cameras, not necessarily the Logitech cameras. Does anyone know?

how would this compare to just using OBS and cheap webcams? especially considering obs is likely going to be part of your livestream pipeline anyway...

That's a really good question. We haven't tried hooking up multiple cameras in OBS, so that's worth testing to compare. But off the bat, a few thoughts: - Mevo cameras are wireless while most other webcams aren't - You don't need another OBS software/app to use these cameras. Instead, you use the Mevo app to control them and their angles. - The cameras and app are the same brand and they connect quickly and reliably. In the 15 times I've tried them, there's never been a lag in connection or problems connecting.

Honestly these are pretty dope. But tbh I think the app features are the best part. I use my DSLR as my main camera and 2 cell phones I don't use anymore as side shots. It works pretty good but editing is annoying. That's why I said the mevo app is the best part.

I think you'll want an obs deck for shot selection.

We typically use Streamlabs when doing livestreams and that works pretty well, but we only do that with a single camera angle. I love the ease of using this app when I need multicam angles from multiple devices.

Hmm.. in the EXIF data when you look at the files, yes. But it’s not stamped in the video while recording.

Everything is amazing. Besides the fact that you can’t do countdown videos, or play back videos via screen broadcast with Audi. 😢

It’s good concept but it’s only 1080p resolution. I don’t do live streaming so I want to record it and edit a little before I post it. There’s no dept in videos because the sensor is so small.

1080p resolution is still pretty good, considering these are livestreaming cameras first and given the mulitcam feature. To do all of that with higher resolution cameras would be way more expensive and take more time to edit. So...compromises.

If you don’t do live streaming you shouldn’t be looking at these cameras… i would recommend a gopro because they are in the same price range as a Mevo but they have up to 5k video recording

@@CalebBoender i want the 3 cameras shooting all at once and can choose which angle from the ipad pro. This is the right concept if it 4K, because i can edits more afterwards. I might be able to upscale to 4K

To my eye as a photographer, this might seem good still expensive for most people on KZread and still a webcam

For sure not for sports like cricket because of digital zoom once mevo offers optical zoom than it will be the best solution for streaming sports

When Mevo finally offers an optical zoom, it must not lose focus during the zoom path. A clear zoom path will cinch it.

Why not use old iphone with continuity camera on Mac - can save money lolz

proprietary, locked down, camera cannot connect directly to OBS. Avoid.

This is more like home studio production or personal one room production. I steam stage performances, full stage conference and these events needs to operate from far far away from the main speaker. Need Optical zoom capability and sound looping, mixing extra media, slides, video documentary and so on. This is far from the professional production I can say.

$999 ? Pffft, ridiculous, you can get 3 USB streaming camera's for $45 each and just plug them into the extra USB ports in your computer and use OSB to choose which camera you want to switch to.

It's definitely not a cheap option. Mevo's main advantages over DIY setups with OBS and cheaper webcams are: - Mevo cameras can be completely wireless with a 6 hour battery life, giving you more flexibility with your setup. - Wirelessly synching Mevo cameras with the included app is fast and reliable and there's a feature to automatically switch camera angles, something you can't do in most other OBS platforms.

You certainly can use OBS. However, this mevo multicam pack is an alternative to the expensive dslr camera and lenses. One dslr camera even budget wise, cost as much or more than the Mevo Multicam pack.

I'm happy you got paid to review these cameras, but let's be real. These cameras suck. They're worth like $150 each max. I wouldn't mind using them as an indoor security camera, but that's about it. I'd rather have 3 older GoPros.

I honestly don’t think they suck. Yes, they’re expensive and have a specific, more limited use compared to a GoPro. But when used as intended, they do the job.

Nope. Mevo with it’s best settings to record and sunlight the video quality is AWEFUL. It’s an overpriced webcam. All sponsored reviewers were given this product for review DO NOT use the Mevo camera, and none I found paid for it themselves. Wonder why? Yep, it does not live up to the generous quality claims. Sorry guys, buy 3 GoPro 10s or 11s and you’re set!

It’s intended to be used more like a webcam, not an action cam like GoPro. There’s also a huge community of active Mevo customers on Facebook who genuinely love the cameras - this was the main reason I decided to give them a shot.

This is great, I finally found out how to block a channel…laters!
