SS/GS is great all around. You can aggro everything with shield skills. If you go GS skills and take a few SS skills you can still land HEAVY damage.

Great guide! wanted to play tank mainly for the PVE content and this is really helpfull. Is SNS/GS the only good combination for tanks? or would recommend another one? And do you have any mana issues in longer boss fights and in that case what do you do, prioritize certain skill that don't spend to much or what

Great videos. Can you create a "part 2" to these videos and describe what it's like to play the classes with a controller? (No one has any videos about controller play)

Sure I actually plan to do that with the wand since most people have no idea that u can select heal on controller as well

Yeah I will make one it’s a scary class in PvP. Honestly the best for pve because it frees up five dps slots as well. Tank heal that is. Tank greatsword is really good for pve and in some ways better for pvp but yeah if u can properly manage the dps on sns wand it’s great for PvP.

@@TheGuitarist562 That's good to know man because I've been excited to play SNS/Wand since I saw it. My brother is gonna play Longbow/Wand and my buddy not sure yet. Would you recommend a third combination to go with SNS/Wand & Longbow/Wand?

Taunting blade is still really good for AOE farming, cause it can apply taunt effect on mobs so it is free dmg boost since the taunt skill have long CD. Before the update i had to use taunting blade with my xbow + dagger friends, when we started the boss fights w/o that wep i had no chance to keep aggro. they used stellarite, pots, self buffs and they are burst dps. My full traited 2x +9 weps and high lvl skills + stellarite + guardian was not enough xd. When i swapped to taunting blade and full traited i had no issue holding the aggro with them in the team. (4 of my friend was xbow + dagger so boss fights were quite short XD)

I love the taunting blade it’s my go to wep when aggro at the beginning couldn’t be held but I was a bleh tank so that’s why. Proper built tank even with explosive dps can hold aggro because most players build fat tank and not a dps tank that has high hp

Hi I meant to ask, I went SnS/Wand since that was what was OP or so people said, but for pvE which is what I want to do, I lack the stuns and everything else, including I think the damage you displayed. Is then SnS/GS more appropriate for a tank while SnS/Wand is the op thing for pvp zergs and static groups that run together? I wanted something good a pick up and play that I could carry.

Go SS/GS (Lean into SS) For tank. Go GS/SS for heavy (Bruiser) Damage not to be confused with DPS; but HEAVY sometimes 1 shot damage for pve soloing

Leaning S&S/GS for Global. I want to be helpful in Dungeons and a Menace in PvP. Also trying to get some info on the Pros/Cons of MAINING S&S, but being able to sub in GS OR Want OR Dagger OR... Something else. Want to balance out Utility of Options, but not sure if it's do-able without Gimping any of the 3.

That’s a good choice it’s definitely top tier and used in large scale but a common theme fighting in Korea lately with bigger groups is paladin build. 20 fat tanks that can do damage but more useful for knocking people off and sleeping and slowing down pushes. With the new aggro system u can do a lot as a tank right now as sns gs or sns wand

I heard SnS/GS is bad?? I guess SnS/dagger is better to use overall ?

I rocked SS/GS and was always a full threat Tank. I would go GS/SS and rock Heavy damage (not dps) but all bruiser.

Whats your thoughts on a PLD build. I have sword and wand. STR,PER,WIS?

Depends if u want to just pve meat shield u can but honesty tanks can do a lot of damage
